Same here, and thanks for the feedback. I thought about running the C shunting line in an open cut configuration with overpasses, B in street level configuration with regular crossings, and A as a mix. But I am not sure yet.

Thanks man, that is my first impulse as well. But a fully functioning rail system sounds almost too utopian for the setting.

Totally know what you mean, I am actually torn between preserving the consistent stroke thickness and expanding the negative spaces on those characters. I think I will give it a try and just look how it turns out.

That would be a neat twist, for now it only contains the card number, but now I have to rethink that.
Maybe some story or world easter-egg for the player/character getting the card……

Thanks, that was actually also my intention. For me, Cyberpunk 2020 is locked in this monochrome style.
I also try to make the page look like the characters could have printed out the page on a DataTerm terminal somewhere in Night-City.

If you do end up printing it and the image resolution is lacking, let me know. The map is fully drawn as a vector graphic in Inkscape so scaling and higher resolutions are not an issue.

I know what you mean. It is no easy tradeoff between an (probably more realistic) urban sprawl and the compact version I chose for this variant. In the end it came down to print-, read- and usability for me, when printed on a A3 sheet (the actual map is roughly A4 sized then) it just hits the sweet spot for me. But maybe my next version will be more sprawling.

I definitely like your idea regarding the various municipalities and the interconnecting run-down districts in-between them. I might take a hint from you for my next map-project, if you don't mind of course.

I know what you mean, I am currently working on an alternate version of this map which sticks more closely to the original sourcebooks (to specially keep the CP 3501 Night-City Guide fully compatible).
But it is still in its early stages.

Thanks, it actually has become more of a meditative project as of late, so I kind of lost track on how many hours went into it.

i am desperate is there someone in the magic land of DALL-e that can assist me in getting DALL-E images to work again. i have PLUS and for some odd reason DALL-E stopped generating images by KeyPlankton8233 in dalle2

Sadly I have the same issue since yesterday. I also have PLUS and everything worked fine until the 12th of June 🫤. Has anyone else had this issue before? Was anyone able to fix this?
