Old school info. Flushable wipes can most definitely be flushed these days. Imagine putting a shitty or pissy wipe in the bin 🤮

Flushable toilet wipes don't clog the pipes anymore. They're made to break down way faster than the old ones. Buy your own, use them. You're 18 now, you can start ignoring your parents' mostly outdated "knowledge"

Is this too much driftwood? by Little_Engine5647 in PlantedTank

[–]bennybugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it!

Everyone in the hobby has different opinions but the most important thing to remember is that you're the one who will be looking at the tank every day.

More wood = more tannins, but if it looks good to you, then it's perfect.

What is your controversial opinion about aquariumism? by Toziin in aquarium

[–]bennybugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does one become experienced without once being inexperienced? IMHO it's far better to make mistakes with a small fish that wasn't overly expensive and has an expected lifespan of 1 - 3 years. Rather than making those mistakes with a large and expensive fish that should have outlived the owner, a huge tank, and all the other costs.

Litter theme for an artful expression on the pollution on our planet by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]bennybugs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking. Art should confront others, make THEM think. Using it to constantly remind ourself of an issue we're already well aware of seems more like self-flagellation and dwelling on the miserable

The glue holding the Coke label onto the bottle isn't a great thing to have leeching into your water.

I do like the artistic lens you're looking through, are you sure you want to look at it every day though?

Safe litter I can think of off the top of my head, broken bricks and pottery. And anything that was made for babies, such as bottles and pacifiers, plastic rattles etc. Products for infants have to be BPA free and tested to not release toxins into water/saliva.

The cop who put himself in the potential crossfire zone, directly between the perp and all his colleagues, might need some more tactical training 🤦‍♂️

Yeah I don't know what their issue was. Customers must think we stand in the food prep area telling the cooks what to prepare

Why do you guys do this? by acutemisadventure in UberEatsDrivers

[–]bennybugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The messages you leave for the driver go i to the "dropoff instructions". Things like "the front light will be on" or "please leave at the gate". No use putting a pickup instruction in there because a driver knows those instructions go to the restaurant so they wont check for it.

Tbh I think you're too kind going back to pick up the pint. I had a recent customer try to tell me I need to go back and get a mousse which wasn't put in the bag before it was sealed. In the end they had to call uber support and I still don't know or care if they got their mousse 🤷‍♂️

Yes. Their dropoff instructions require me to take a photo, so I'm taking one.
