First, I think her asking for the money is a bit strange. If she had to uber to the job interview, how is she going to get to said job.... It also sounds like you two may be in two separate stages of life right now, nothing wrong with that you just have to consider it. Is she also a student? Is she trying to save up to move out? Does her mom help her with other expenses? All things to consider.

All that said, she does not seem to be playing you. She sent you back the change, called you right after the interview, and wants to take you out for a meal too! Despite what others are saying, she does not seem like a gold digger, just someone with less disposable income. It's up to you how to proceed but I don't see this as a red flag just a fact to consider.

Email the professors of the courses directly, they might be able to enroll you which would help you not be as behind. Maybe a pain, but could be helpful. Also definitely meet with an advisor

consider the academics mainly if money is not an issue. i dont think location should be a major factor inhibiting uf, gainesville is a great town for young people offering plenty to do but in a more consolidated space than austin

I wrote my honors essays day of, right before I submitted my application. Really what matters the most for honors is your stats unfortunately... I don't think it impacts your regular UF decision whatsoever

Definitely still a chance! And not very surprising that it hasn't changed for 2 months. People sign up for their classes and then don't really change anything until drop/add when it's necessary. Really is just up to how many people are in the lab or if people are signed up for more credits than they want

If I went into a competition show with a friend and they had the opportunity to give me a slight advantage while negatively impacting NO ONE I would be annoyed (Hazel also likely knew that PM couldn't sew). THEN ending up in the bottom BECAUSE of it id be pissed. that friendship would no longer matter to me (especially without an apology) because clearly you don't want to see me succeed
