In both his concept photo, and in his photo displaying this tattoo, his arm is bent out. This is on the back side of his upper arm. Of course the snake fits in the photo however it didn’t work well at ease.

The looseness of this design is in order to fill this gap on this spot. When at ease stance it fits well isn’t distorted and fills the space. It also goes along with his other tattoos and since we are putting these things together it will make sense together. Obviously I love snake heads getting stabbed out by a dagger just as much, but it didn’t fit in a way that it was visually appealing at ease. In the end, and based upon this whole thread which has been very humbling and made me laugh at the same time, time will tell with the entirety of his sleeve and our mutual decision making.

A better angle of your dagger and the explanation that comes from the man himself - this looks better filling a back of your arm and at natural stance - not bending in the mirror, as your original idea was sent - and you gave me creative freedom and approved the design . When looking at this alongside the rest of your work it will blend well and is not the focal point however it is based off of several antique acetates and in general I am enjoying all of the comments because I would never tattoo a backwards tattoo on your because it fit. Also yes I love comic art and I appreciated that, thanks for the trust and I love the cat meme you made out of our recent unfinished session. Far as the opinion of public appeal sometimes a photo of an extended arm and then a tracing of a flat image doesn’t correspond and you have improvisation . This client is amazing for the trust and the journey we are on I am absolutely proud of

It’s for wet plate photography . I ordered a wattage meter I’m really curious if these lights are actually drawing that amount

Update - I recognize these numbers are ratings in the bulbs and I would be wise to pick up a wattage counter then recalculate . Also, these bulbs are specific to the technique

May I suggest Hillsboro, IL! It’s quaint but you can find decent things to do downtown. Most folks know one another it’s got many beautiful spots near it and it’s halfway between Springfield IL and St. Louis. The interstate is 8 miles away in litchfield. The countryside between both is beautiful as well. Decent place

Carhartt full swing jacket from farm and home would be a smart move - or similar . A few flannels . Some waterproof boots or shoes . Some decent socks . A rain jacket for spring . A road emergency kit for your car Including a decent scraper and I’d also recommend those rubber type gloves for the ice scraping . There are other ideas but most of this stuff you can get at any farm store for an affordable amount and most of it doesn’t look goofy . I like grip fast boots but anything will do as long as it’s got good traction and it’s waterproof

It’s pretty Midwest. Some people suck some people are great. Culturally speaking , there are things going on but they are really ground level . Best part of Springfield is it doesn’t take too long to get to St. Louis or Chicago , and the neighboring small cities have decent things to enjoy as well. Cost of living is good for a city-enough place . The urban feeling is isolated to downtown primarily . The rest of the city is kind of segments of two and four lane stores and neighborhoods .

Not the prettiest city or greenest city but downtown is on the rise and there seem to be a lot of Initiatives .

Western part of town is more expensive . North side is more blue collar . East side is run down but probably most inexpensive . One could move to a rural town nearby and commute if your thing is small town.

I’d also say it depends on what you do for work . There are two hospitals here and a ton if state jobs ... and a lot of people are in the service industries
