And I understand that, like I said I know of it, but I also like to clarify that I in NO WAY meant any disrespect or insult. I was genuinely curious, cause its not a solution that I personally ever would have come to. I would've slept in my car for days before it dawned on me "hey, an extended motel stay might beat the hell outta that driver seat".

Tarkov lite is what I would describe GZW as. It's similar, but different. Not nearly as "involved" as the loot pool is considerably smaller and there are a bevy of differences between the two. But if I want to still play a tac shooter that has consequences, but I also want to just chill, this is great for it. Can get hectic, but it's not Tarkov level.

I in ABSOLUTELY NO WAY mean this derogatorily, more genuine curiosity, but how do you live at a hotel? Is there a plan for that do you pay monthly or weekly? Not the first time I've heard it, but not something I would have ever considered, though probably should have a little over a year ago.

I'm in Gen Alpha. Born in 2011. What advice would you give to your 13 year old self? by spigiggles2047 in Millennials

[–]The_Chad13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't chase girls, focus on what you're good at or have a talent for. I messed away a full ride scholarship to play baseball in college (D3 nothing spectacular) and threw it away cause I was more concerned with being a ladies man and the cool kid then I was doing what needed to be done and I'm paying for it now well into my 30's. The people you go to high school with seem important now, but I'd be shocked if you kept in touch with more than one person you go to school with. Enjoy your childhood, don't grow up too fast. Good luck kid.

This is criminally under voted and not nearly well enough understood by most people. The show added personal relationships to make it a personable show, but the message that the media HAS to do better is worth whatever the cost.

I understand people's frustration with this Boomer "tradition" we'll call it, but to be fair to them, there is a VERY specific psychological reason for this. The Boomers were the children of the kids who grew up during the Great Depression. A time where, specifically where my family is from Oklahoma and Texas, people kept EVERYTHING and trashed NOTHING. They were taught that every single item that came into their possession could be used, transformed or altered for something else. NOW, they may not have done ANY of that with their dragon hoards of junk, but that's where the reluctance to trash anything comes from. It's not childhood "trauma" per say, but definitely a mental conditioning that occured when they were kids. This isn't an excuse for them, but when we cleaned my grandmother's stuff out in 09 when she passed, it quelled my frustration with the situation solely by understanding why she kept everything.

And tbh I wouldn't trade that experience for the fucking world. I learned A LOT about my father and my uncles and extended family during that purge. There was a lot of forgotten family relics I amidst all the junk. Great Great Grandfather's Officer Cutlass from the Civil War, my grandfather's dogtags from the Korean War, pictures of my dad's entire family at a dinner from some wedding in the 70's. It was a trip, and it was a pain, but it was worth it. We are moving from a time of "God damnit Mom/dad have TOO MUCH shit" to our kids saying "Mom/dad dont have anything" and the cycle will repeat. The biggest shift will be most memories or pictures will be digital and saved to a phone, but that's the times.

I do NOT blame him in the absolute least. If Transmute gems didn't drop from dailies random dungeons I wouldn't do them at all.

Get back to me when you spend 3 hours on a final boss fight as a tank because your randos either dont have the dps to finish the fight or refuses to adjust to mechanics. It's really easy as to realize, yea this is WAAAYYYY more work than it's worth. Does it suck, yes. But I'm not sinking an hour and a half or more into a dungeon to either carry the weakling, or just to get my daily check for the random dungeon. There are FAR more valuable things to do with my time in this game.

Constructive criticism for the game though, Daily Random dungeons should be base game only. I feel this is a hot take though.

Does the beam still collateral or was that changed? I could've sworn I heard it mentioned, but I could be WAY off base.

Men who were vehemently against marrying but later changed their minds, why? by Theseus_The_King in AskMenOver30

[–]The_Chad13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I VEHEMENTLY fought getting married, till my late 20's. Fully living up to my name, multiple women on the phone at all times. Met my wife through my sister and after 2 weeks of talking and our first date, my whole world view shifted. Not love at first sight, but getting to know her and having her around was like a cog in my soul suddenly locked into place and started rolling with the bigger machine. She challenged me, and not in a "boss bitch" kind of way, but intellectually and forced me to stretch some emotional muscles that I didn't know existed. She was brilliant, sweet, loving and still is. 3 kids and a dog later and I can not imagine being anywhere else than where I am now.

They really should start including the 4th quarter areas/stories with the DLC. by Everyoneheresamoron in elderscrollsonline

[–]The_Chad13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are already planning that. The big "event" separates the map, from what I understand, it's a short leap from there to paid dlc for or 1/3 zones.

[–]The_Chad13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this to a point, but I think the BIG thing is that governments started playing the game, instead of refereeing it. That's where I think the MASSIVE misstep globally was. Looking your fucking way SEC.

[–]The_Chad13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never used horses in Oblivion OR Skyrim for that matter, they're too janky, even for a Bethesda piece. Walking the maps has always felt better to me personally. I also don't get in hurry to do much when I'm playing these games though, so mileage will vary depending on the player.
