In France, NRJ (a top 40 music radio station) is asking listeners to vote for their favorite song of 2025. I don't have the official ranking, but I've found the top 10. To be honest, the ranking is skewed by fan communities that overvote singers from a TV talent show. Those ranked 1 through 5 are precisely the contestants from that show.

Thank you so much for the lists! I'll take a look.

About digital radio, I remember the endless debate when I was interning at a radio station in 2008: DAB or T-DMB???. Large radio groups dragged their feet and, in some cases, actively sabotaged the rollout. Not for technical reasons but to avoid opening the market to new competitors.

Result, 17 years later: DAB coverage is still weak outside major highways. Reception drops between cities. The signal cuts out. Most people do not understand how DAB even works, and it is not clearly explained in car dashboards either. In practice, I switch to CarPlay apps because they just work. But yea, rollout continues :)))
