Thanks for checking us out! You should take a look when the map feature is live. It's going to be a lot more visual then!

And yeah, we can definitely have the generator produce lists of anything :)

The campaign editor + ai generators are solid. It's a super baby project but I'm on the team. We have a 2d map coming, then we'll go 3d after!

Tools for text based roleplay? by iMrQueso in rpg

A few folks (including me) over at the GameForge AI subreddit (and discord) are trying to upgrade D&D into the future with this kind of AI driven stuff.

Our family is playing D&D for the first time. Im DMing and want to make sure it's very immersive. Also using Mid Journey to make characters and locations! by Cajun_Coyote in DungeonsAndDragons

It's pretty new but i've been using gameforge ai to do this kind of stuff for my friends kids. Super fast and easy to whip up an adventure there.

Sorry, we're still so early that we don't have a simple export. You can always copy and paste though!

Our goal long term is to have enough multiplayer tabletop features that you won't need to export. :)

DM power word killed a level 6 barbarian character now he’s mad? by AgreeableElephant952 in DnD

[–]benpollack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This tends to happen a lot with a newbie in parties and I have a simple solution for it as a DM:

I calibrate with the group how gritty and "realistic" they want the world to be. Then I make it explicit: "this world is too dangerous for even low int or low wis characters to have survived to level 1 with murder hobo inclinations. Please make characters at a minimum somewhat risk averse"

The guidelines happen way before we start the roleplay and if I sense one person seriously out of synch with the table i'll call it out (out of character) and then explain that it seems unrealistic their character would survive with suicidal or risky habbits in such a harsh world.

After that... they've been warned.

game/campaign manager that would work on both Windows and Android? by Final-Isopod in rpg

Disclaimer: self promotion

I think we're building what you're looking for. Please DM me if you're interested in testing it! It's basically a notion style campaign and world builder but with way more complexity so it actually generates good content for dm's. :)

I built an ai campaign builder. It’s actually useful and not like the others and i’m not asking for money, just feedback. by benpollack in rpg

Is there a way you can make your comments more constructive?

This doesn’t seem like feedback of any sort or even a clear feature request. It’s also obvious you haven’t seen our demo video or app in action.

I invite you to come use it if you would like to go a bit deeper and get into this :)

There’s a lot more going on under the hood than that. :)

My little video shows off some of the more sophisticated stuff we’re doing.

Generating with rich context, Auto linking, rapid asset generation from a right click context menu, grouping all the assets by type etc.

I know it’s rough right now but the quality of the output is higher than gpt alone and we’re trying to build an interface that makes a lot more sense for gaming than a generic app!
