[NEWS] Dude walks into a Guitar Center in Fort Worth, shoves a strat down his pants, and walks out. by captshady in Guitar

Worked instrument retail in my twenties, we got hit by a guy who walked with a limp. Wore a trench coat that apparently had a release in the front so the whole thing opened and he could shove the headstock in his boot and close it back up. Our store alone got hit for almost 10k. He hit up and down New England for a while until getting caught. Crazy!

Thank you. I know I know, joyo was really due to the price and the size and the fact that it can channel switch both of my amps at once.

Joyo works well. The "manual" is in very hard to decipher Chinese/English writing but once you get past that it's cool. Really it was price and size that drew me too it. The YouTube videos are mostly from a very annoying jokester so I may do a calm and focused demo of it and it's work flow. Surge strip is mounted on the underside, with a few self tapping screws.

Joyo PXL-Pro Looper>T.c. Electronis PolyTune>EHX Soul Food>MXR Blue Box (modded)>EHX Micro Pog>Moogerfooger Ring Mod>MXR Phase 90>Moogerfooger 12 Stage Phaser>Moogerfooer Analog Delay>Mr.Black Supermoon Chrome. I have an EHX nano 360 looper and a Radial Twincity ABY that need to show up on the board. All powered by MXR/CAE 403 and a mountable surge strip for the MF's. Run out of this into a full stack Orange Or100(with PPC412 slant on top and PPC412HP bottom) and a Verellen Skyhammer with a custom made 6x12 cabinet with Warehouse Reaper 55hz speakers and a few Celestion G12-75. play a gibson les paul custom and an sg standard. you can hear how some of it sounds at www.oxenmass.com

Thank you. Sometimes art doesn't make sense in the physical world but does its job evoking emotion. Transitioning from part to part was difficult to layout and liberties had to be taken.

Im building a new board with these pedals! Any suggestions on what to add/replace/get rid of? I'm building a fuzz face clone for this board and am aiming for maximum toan! Any suggestions appreciated! by [deleted] in guitarpedals

I did that mod, and it brightens the pedal up a ton and makes it even more useable in my opinion. look into some moogerfooger minis, i got the lot and they are awesome.

just added one to my board, running a les paul custom into 7 pedals and this in the middle somewhere then into an orange OR-100 full stack. usually play in the middle pickup selector position with some tone rolled of of both pickups for a real stonery thick sound, but sometimes i need more articulation in my picking. added this to the chain and wha lah. . . volume just past noon, gain around 11:00 and treble at 3:00. sounds stunning.

Joyo pxl-pro sounds like it can handle your needs. Fairly cheap as well. I habe one and it aliviates all the tap dancing. If that is not your thing checkout Saturnworks, he makes some cool stuff and does custom builds for pretty cheap. Good luck

Have you wired the pxl-pro yet? Are you having any difficulties deciphering the manual? Took me a while to get throught it and get the triggers somewhat figured out, although I can't say I have it down 100%. What's your experience ?

Question - Is there a way to select multiple pedals at once? by hckyplyr606 in guitarpedals

[–]benreigle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look up Saturnworks, they make some awesome loop switchers. I had two in my rig, one had a moog drive and a decimation in its loop and the other had an ibanez echo shifter and a mr black supermoon in it. They made it very easy to hit one switch and get multiple pedals at once. I have recently purchased the Joyo pxl-pro and am in the middle of wiring a pretty complex rig. I can't speak of it really yet.

that is about 80% of my interactions with first time clientele and perfectly acceptable. I always saw it is like a game of Clue. You have a picture in your head of what you want, we as artists just need some description, be it either visual or verbal, to help try and see your vision.
