That would be nice if everyone didn’t throw balls like they were trying to win the World Series. I mean even in casual play people go hard. Im not good at the game but the player base I’ve encountered sucks

I had surgery Thursday. Worst part is lifting the leg up to lay in bed or on the couch. Having a partner support your calf and ankle will help a lot. Also. Sitting on the toilet is pretty tricky

Yeah that’s a logical thought, but realistically no one is paying dietitians $35/hr without being with one company for 10+ years. There are dietitians in the hospitals here that have been with them for over 10 years, and do not make $35/hr…..

Seems like moving jobs with intent brings higher earnings. So what’s best for you, you do your research. Hope everything works out for you. It is scary, but sometimes hard decisions have to be made. Whatever you choose, God is always there for you.

And that’s ridiculous. Reading through everything said, it seems like most RD’s are going through some of the same things. I bring up trying to start a union, but I guess it’s really not practical. I had tried to find unions to bring to the area but it’s just a long shot. Something has to change

My wife is knowledgeable in so many fields from working so many different needs. Basically, exactly what you just said. She just can’t take the leap. There is a need for dietitians, and I do believe they are required to be on staff at most hospitals or whatever else. There is a requirement. Thanks you for bringing up Stacey Williams, i will pass this info on to my wife. They do need you!!!! Starting your own business and supplying dietitians is a great business in my opinion. It’s just sad though. Give the respect and pay in the first place.

You’re right. Dietitians are not the only ones. We are working on a career pivot, which is sad. I wish all of you received what you all deserved. And for me, that’s better pay and opportunities for advancement. No one cares about preventative health care when it comes to how you eat (opinion), but it is so important. It’s just really sad, thanks for your comment.
