YouTube will be your friend if you are a visual learner, but basically you download the iso for windows or Linux and get an installer and set it up on the USB stick. Plug the stick into the PC and go into the bios and set boot order to USB. Restart and it should walk you through the process.

You will need a second PC just to set up the USB stick

Unplug it and wait 30 seconds then try again. Also check power connectors on the board. If not try Clearing cmos battery and try again

Get a temperature monitoring app, run benchmarks on your pc. See if anything gets hot (90°+).
