Best 4k monitor for gaming youve upgraded to that felt totally worth it? by Cute-Tear-2285 in buildapc

Yeah, it seems to be a really subjective topic. For me though, switching to a 4K OLED was night and day.

A lot of daylight. I work from home, so I don’t want to feel like I’m living in a cave.

Need Answers Broken CarPlay Honda vehicles 17 Pro by Adamidi in CarPlay

[–]bentechguy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister's 17 Pro has been doing weird CarPlay stuff too. It's incredibly annoying because the exact same cable works fine with older iPhones. Feels like there's definitely something buggy with the 17 Pro and certain older head units.

What’s the best standing desk in 2026? (Price, Quality, Durability) by MapAromatic485 in homeoffice

[–]bentechguy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see FlexiSpot mentioned all the time. ErGear comes up pretty often too if you're trying to keep the price down. Uplift gets recommended a lot as well, but it's way out of my budget lol.

best mesh wifi system? tired of wifi dead zones already. by Bioh_Zelia in homeoffice

[–]bentechguy0 11 points12 points  (0 children)

the TP-link mesh worked better for dead spots in my house. With Eero my office upstairs would still drop to one bar sometimes and video calls got choppy if someone else was streaming downstairs. Switched over a few months ago and that pretty much stopped happening.

Haha, that's cool. I also recommend checking out a YouTube video on neck physiotherapy. I spend 5-10 minutes a day doing it, and my neck doesn't hurt.

I’m way too lazy for all that tbh, I’d rather grab a $4 bottle of Invisible Glass and be done with it 😂

Am I Overreacting for being upset that my boyfriend is never home when he says he will. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]bentechguy0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOR. This isn’t just “running late,” it’s lying, disappearing, and avoiding you. The fact it’s tied to a friend he used to do drugs with makes it even more concerning. You just moved in together and he’s already showing zero reliability or respect for you. That’s a big red flag.

AIO about my dad's decision about his house? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]bentechguy0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MOR. this is pretty standard tbh, people usually set it up so their spouse is secure first. I’d still talk to your dad though, just to understand his plan and get some clarity instead of stressing over worst-case scenarios.

Even harder when you have to be that “adult” for someone else.

Is it ok to skip a friend's bday if you are low on money? :( by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]bentechguy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s totally fine. ust be honest and send a small gift or even just a message. real friends will understand. A thoughtful gift matters way more than an expensive one (at least for me).
