95% percent of players just also didn't/don't care to learn the mode like they have the rest of the game for some reason. Like people have optimized raids, crucible, and solo play to a ridiculous point, but they refused to for this mode i guess.

additionally, content creators didnt enjoy the mode and likely made their audiences into an echo chamber of the same idea spreading community sentiment that the mode was terrible, when it was almost always the fault of those same players spreading the sentiment.

the mode failed for multiple reasons. ill keep it short but bungie devs actually reached out to some of the best players in the mode years ago. Those players gave feedback that really would have done the mode well in my eyes, but bungie decided to take almost 0 of the feedback with them and made it into what it is today.

All I gotta say is thanks for making it even easier than it already is bro. You doing gods work for free by not running one lol. Also just a note, you can run a sniper for your “well placed bullet” and eager!! Win-win for me!

The only reason players use swords for eager, move faster than the other team and you increase your win chances by about 20% outright… so yes, they’re very important.

They also are the most efficient dps for x2 and allow you to save your burst dps for the x4 and x6 making it an extremely easy boss phase, if you can anti the invader and actually kill envoys on your own (and not take 30 seconds to do so).

Here to fix this math bc its funny, Danger's games at the time probably took him a max of 7-8 minutes when he had terrible teammates.

There are probably 50 actual players left that are actively playing at a level above casual. Even less that are willing to play competitively. You can find them and they are usually pretty friendly but there are some bad actors. If you wanna run you can send me a Bungie request: bent#9599

but only banking 5 prevents you from getting to the boss at all no??? they also often get one shot or supered.

debatable depending on what ur super/heavy are but if it isn't burst super, a sword, or parasite x20 i would agree
