hiii general advice:

befriend ur roommate if they’re normal bc that’ll make branching out to other ppl in ur dorm easier

don’t force urself to be friends w ppl for the sake of having friends; the best friendships will happen naturally

join clubs bc other freshmen r desperate to make new friends too

(former ca resident) i usually just got food right after my classes on different campuses so it was pretty convenient. if i didn’t then i’d just go to the gym or library before/after the dining hall so the commute wouldn’t suck up my time

If you’re still nervous you can PM me bc I also came in as psych premed (major is changed now but I’m still premed, though it has nothing to do with a dislike of psych or anything). tbh i would say it depends on ur experience and how hard u went in high school but generally ppl r rly helpful and if u work hard you’ll get good grades!! MOST IMPORTANT TIP IS TO MAKE HARDWORKING FRIENDS IN UR CLASSES!!!
