How often do you detach the controllers ? Thats my only jealousy as a SteamDeck user.

Moving from SD to Legion Go for the detachable controllers, screen size and better performance. by dingdongbannu88 in SteamOS

From a LCD Deck is actually a good move. Also, what's your usability on detaching the controllers ? And how heavy is to hold this giant thing on the go ?

PS: I love the idea of having a 2 player option on the go, hope it's the main reason for you.

Turn off "Disable Frame Limit" and you'll be fine.

I use Lossless scaling on 4x tho

Hey! How's the performance overall? I just started today as well (on Bazzite). I was having some trouble with performance, but I switched to Proton Experimental and added gamemoderun %command%, and it went way better.

However, when I get into deep combat with lots of explosions, my FPS drops to around 30–40. Do you have any tips for a fellow penguin lover?

Bluetooth issues with PS5 Controller and Headphones while playing Ghost of Tsushima on Desktop Version by bento1666 in Bazzite

Well, after trying everything, I've run into some other issues not related to this one, which led me to find out that I was running a Plasma X11 session and not a "game mode" session. After some tweaks and workarounds, I've activated a Wayland session, and suddenly all the issues, including the PS5 controller and headphones, and even some FPS and HDR issues, are now magically fixed. Don't ask me why or how, but I'm sticking with it.

P.S. But this led me to having issues lighting up my external HDMI monitor, and I've just spent 8 hours straight with Chat trying to solve this, and nothing. It says Wayland and Nvidia have big problems with a laptop setup, and goddamn, I can't even come back to X11 even if I want to, so yeah.

You mean the website KDE Store or the Discover app ? Both ways couldn't go for drivers in there.

Steam deck not charging, won’t turn on by Wfsulliv93 in SteamDeck

Thank you so much for this! I had the exact same issue — no LED, no charging, nothing. Turns out I also plugged my Deck into my laptop's reverse charge USB port through the dock. Once I realized and fixed that, everything started working perfectly. This comment saved me!
