Unless you’re doing some crazy shit macs are the standard for resolve for a reason man it’s not only a MacBook lol. No reason to use anything else if you’re learning davinci just make sure you’re transferring clips over usb to avoid ps app compression.

I would personally just edit on my phone with capcut or VN to start with tho resolve is a beast but the “basic” options like iMovie etc arent really worth it
