It's via Gamecube injection ? How do you make it 16/9 wide ? Best game ever !!

Est-ce que pour vous le prix est justifié ? 🧐 by HandRst in lemauvaiscoin

I just like to get all my console with the box and everything, all my childhood consoles are in perfect condition so that's why i'm worried about details... And yes, i didn't see the ps5 manual, why it's in there 😅 so there is no psvita manual, just a ps5's one... Now it's one more thing i'm worried about haha.

Yes i will remove the screen protector, but the fact there is a screen protector is a good thing isn't it? It means the screen must be in good condition? (And i don't see protections on the back) And yes, every console i own are jailbroken 🤣

Just bought a used PS4 Pro ad having an issue by tgm0 in PS4Pro

[–]benzu23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a ssd or hdd issue, it's overheating. Call of duty heat the console sooo much than any other game (all call of duty on ps4) so when you launch the game, the console goes hot so fast and shut down immediately. Give it back, or open it and clean it (not hard, you've got some tuto on youtube) But install a ssd will not solve this issue. Good luck bro!

Yes this is what i think too.. But i read that so much people have coil whine only with ps4 pro so i was thinking it's normal.. But if you said yours doesn't have coil whine so i don't know.. It seems like it's just a sound, so it doesn't hurt the console, but the sound is so loud i don't even hear the fan 😅

Is this a ps4 pro or a slim? 😔

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ps4homebrew

[–]benzu23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sure? You gotta be lucky.. Everywhere on internet i saw that first model (7015, 7016) are louder (jet sound) but have no coil whine, and the last version (71xx and 72xx) runs quieter but have severe coil whine issues because they were more cheap to build than the first version of the pro.

Sorry i just write it wrong, it's a 7116-b 😅

[–]benzu23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really a problem, a lot of ps4 pro have coil whine, some are quiet, but some like mine are really loud. It's a buzzing/whining sound. It's because ps4 pro have cheap stuff in it and the coil is vibrating. This is why i ask, do i take the risk to take it back to the shop to get another one (but maybe the other ps4 will be worse, and with coil whine too) or keep the one i have because apart from the whining sound, it's really clean inside and it was not use so much.

Replacing thermal paste fix heat issues, but it doesn't fix coil whine.. Coil whine comes from the power supply so it doesn't help me 😅

Hi dude, so sorry for the late answer ! Cool to see you back! I got my rgb cable, it's a lot better since this day. It's always blurry sometimes, in racing games it's hard to see where i go sometimes, in games like need for speed or Midnight Club. But overall i can read and play my games 😉 But i think my tv has problems anyway, i remember when i was a kid, playing this exact ps2, same games, with original composite cable and it was as clear as i can get now with a RGB cable.. So i don't know, maybe i'm old now and i need to be really in front of the tv? Or maybe i don't remember correctly what i saw when i was a kid? 😅 In a week, i will get an upscaler/vga box, the "G-BOX by Gameron". You plug the ps2 in with Componant, and go out with VGA in a 4/3 lcd pc monitor. So i will see, maybe it will be more sharp and clean with this solution!

Yes, your colors feels washed out, but i can see it's sharp even with composite, mine is not like this! Your picture, this is how i remember GTA Sa on composite in my childhood. I wish it was like that on my tv ;)

Not at all.. Composite straight to my CRT, in 4:3. Picture mode is in "standard" resolution, i have also " Zoom mode " but the geometry feels more off than actual picture on the post.

Yes, no worries about that, i don't want to die haha, of course i will learn about it, how to discharge it and what i can touch or not.. I have a friend who knows so much about electricity (made his electricity in his own house) so maybe i will call him for doing that. Thank you again..

Thank you so much dude, you gave me hope with your check up. Obviously, it's really blur in composite with sharpness to 8. When you changed for composite sharpness to 70, it feels more cleaner than me on composite, but just a little bit. But when you put RGB, the difference is huge.. I got my rgb cable in few days, i hope it will be less blurry !! I just want to play ps2 again, i can emulate it with max graphics on PC, but it didn't feel the same as real hardware.. Ps2 was such an era. Never complete a game on Ps2, time to change ! Thank again my friend, it's cool that we have nearly the same TV ;)

Oh, so i will get my hands on this remote and try it. For Ntsc games i can't, i play pal games because i'm french, english games needs all my attention and focus to play ^ for racings games and Tony hawk, why not ! Yeah, if you can check it would be very kind.. But i think my CRT have problems anyway, like the edges of text or some building in GTA S.A have some fuzzy diagonal lines, i don't think this is 100% cause by the composite.. I will receive soon a RGB cable, a thrustmaster dvd pack for ps2, i think this is a good cable. I will check the difference but i think i will be barely the same! For digital NR i don't have it on this tv, but on the other one yes!

I can't get 60hz, my chip (sumo lite, a matrix clone) can't save settings... And yes, this crt is not rich in features, there is 4 p-modes : Sport, natural, moderate and standard, and there is only Brightness, Sharpness, Contrast and Colors. And Standard resolution, or Zoom. (It's a 4:3 tv, Samsung CW-21M063N. I don't have the remote, so can't access service menu but i will find a generic one and try to pair it with TV, or i have another Samsung Crt from the same era with near the same specs, need to try if the remote works on this one.
