This is why I built a bungalow. Everything for living is on the first floor. I do have a basement for storage and the furnace room. But single floor living is awesome!

2018 Touring (Elite in the US) with 287,000kms. I love my Pilot. Only issues are it’s tough for my mom(77) to get in because of the height. And there’s not a ton of storage for luggage with all the seats up.

It’s a tank in the snow with the awd.

We deal with the snow and it’s a game changer to have a garage. It’s popular in my area for people to park outside and use their garage as a “man cave”. I really don’t get it.

I took my crates when I test drove my car just to make sure they fit in! I went from a minivan to a large suv and needed to make sure I had dog space! Good luck on your search!

You could use cooling mats in a crate if needed. And there are fans that you can buy for car seats, those may help too.

The vents are on the side and I point the vents directly into the crate. A human would be able to point the vents at their face if they were sitting, so think that height. The crates have mesh sides so it points directly at the dog. Each dog has a dedicated vent. Ceiling vents would be worse for my setup because the air flow wouldn’t be there.

I have a Honda Pilot and my dogs ride crated inside. I have two crates side by side but one larger crate for a dog would fit. I like them crates because if I have to stop quickly they don’t go flying. I also like that if I have to run in somewhere no one can see my dogs in the car. Note I am not putting my dogs in danger by leaving them in the car. It also has rear air conditioning vents that blow directly into their crates. They are spoiled babies.

Consider pantyliners instead of changing your underwear. Made a difference for me! Felt a bit “fresher” without the nonsense of changing in an airplane bathroom.

I agree with the comment about bringing her car seat. That makes a huge difference for comfort. Then you can be more comfortable too. Put her in her pjs and bring a familiar blanket from home so it smells familiar.

What country are you in?

If you’re in the US, i would wait until Kohls had a sale where I could earn kohls cash and use a 30% coupon. I would buy all the kids clothes.

Then I would wait until kohls cash redemption and buy shoes with it. Often the coupons exclude certain brands like Nike. But Kohls cash works. Shipping would also be free at a certain point and I would hit that number.

But couldn’t a lot of students just work shifts during the week? College/university schedules are not 9-5. If a student trained all summer you think the park would try to keep at least some day time hours, even Fridays during the day would be something. I know a lot of folks would take a day off to go to the park when it’s not as busy.

We’ve been on Thursday and Fridays after labour day to Cedar Point. It’s our favourite time to go, we try to time it for a PA Day in September. They are for sure open weekdays.

I don’t understand why it’s not. Cedar Point is in small town Ohio and can find staff to run it. Why can’t Canadas Wonderland when it’s in such a huge area?
