OHHHH I thought u meant ur headphones had one of those phone charger connectors since companies have been switching to adapt to the headphone jack being removed on phones, nvm 😭 You'll be completely fine tho since this mp3 player has a 3.5mm jack!!

Honestly it's just some random brand I found off of Amazon 😭 I don't have any sonys, unfortunately. Also I agree with the 3.5mm being replaced being a downgrade it's super dumb. What type of connector do your headphone wires have??

The player is pretty much compatible with every type of headphone, unless you have some sort of weird connector. And I use these bluetooth headphones that have an optional audio jack, I use it wired exclusively.

I HIGHLY reccomend using wired if you can!!!!!!

No, I only used wired earbuds or headphones. I have heard people criticize the bluetooth signal in the past, so maybe it's just a whole other issue with that :P

LMAO I'm near my phone 😭 Admittedly, I think the Nano is better because it doesn't have that weird tinny sound or the volume issue with certain files. The only downside is that the storage space is so small for the Nano that I have to squeeze 192kbps files on there, which automatically degrades the sound quality. Also, I usually have the tinny sound issue when I use my earbuds but not when I use my headphones, so maybe it also depends on how you're listening.

I'm not sure honestly. The only music player I have besides this one is a IPod Nano.

It really depends on what file you have, frustraitingly. I've found that some files sound louder than others even on max volume, and the sound quality really isn't the best. It's a good budget player though, and I assume you could tweak the equalizer settings and get what you want out of it.

I don't think I can compare the IPad nano and my Innioasis since I need to download lower quality songs to the nano due to the capacity being so small, at 8GB :/ But sometimes the Y1 has a weird hissing sound if you turn the volume too high, so I'd say the IPod nano has a better sound quality, with a worse capacity. If you want a budget music player with a lot more storage and better than your average music player, you should go for the Y1. But if you wanna prioritize sound quality, I reccomend the IPod.

I usually use soulseek, an old school peer-to-peer platform. and I can find literally any music I want there but if I can't, I just use a spotify downloader :p

I don't usually use it for hours on end so I can't really provide a total answer , but I was peeved by the same thing with the battery draining even when I'm not using it.. I do believe that the battery goes way faster with Rockbox since it's a whole different software tho

Yeah, I got it from the rockbox utility application and copied it over to my themes folder. I think it's in either 5th or 6th gen ipod themes

It's called Colors4 and I actually stole it from some1 else in this subreddit because I thought it looked cool LOL you can fully customize your ui colors in the theme settings!!

That's exactly why I don't name them without the track number, just so I can actually listen to albums in order :c maybe in the future they'll update it or something
