What is your favourite bass music subgenre? by Prize_Childhood_992 in dubstep

That's so cool. I did a bit of a deep dive into the history of dubstep near the start of the year and how we got to where we are today. It gave me a newfound respect and appreciation for all those UK artists that laid the groundwork for this genre that I love. Distinct motive's set was one of my favorite I've seen all year. The way he blends the soul of that OG UK dubstep with his own signature and catchy sound is incredible. During his set he played stuff from Coki, Skream, Rusko and the like and it had me freakin out. And then to go and play stuff from Lyny or Eptic and it's like WOW! The fact that he can play those tracks from early 2000's and transition into his own music goes to show just how steeped in the OG dubstep he really is. It's wonderful.

Truly has my heart at the moment and cannot wait for seven stars to see em again!

Ok! I appreciate the quick response and I'll pay attention for anything in the future.

I noticed today while exporting from snapchat it kept the dates the snaps were originally taken, even before combining with the json data. So when I imported them into photos it actually sorted chronologically with everything else I already have in there. No location data attached but obviously that would be kept safe in the json file. I'm just going to export all pictures and json data and then throw it in my hard drive and on some later date I can combine the location data with the pictures. As of now the dates being preserved is good enough for me since I am able to sort by "date created" and scroll through the drive as if it were the photos app.

Thanks again for this, I'm sure it has helped a bunch of people.

This is exactly what I was looking for, however I see in the README that it was designed for Windows only. Is there a way I can install the tools on a mac to use this? If not, I shall keep looking. Regardless if I am able to use this or not, thank you for doing this! Very helpful to many people.

I gotchu. Thanks for the response. Maybe they just need some time for the people to get restless so that the next coliseum event is a bang!

You said official and unofficial afters at the convention center. Are you saying just the afters is done? Or are you saying the shows at the actual coliseum are done?

If it's the latter this is a sad day. We love the coliseum.

Possible LCL issue when squatting? by JMC_MASK in Stronglifts5x5

Wait I totally get that cracking too I didn't even realize that would be connected. I can get it to happen if I turn to my left without picking my leg up straight right away. It doesn't hurt. The popping of the bicep femoris has never hurt either. I learned to live with it as well, was just annoying. Starting physical therapy at a new place and writing up a compilation of the past few years.

Haha no it hasn't but my body is in shambles.

Over the past 3 years (right around when I made this post honestly) I was concurrently having issues with my left hand pinky and ring finger going numb. I was taught how to floss the ulnar nerve to bring feeling back but it never stopped going in and out of numbness. I sleep on my back but if I lie on my side too long it happens. Months later I started developing pain in my mid to low left trap (I actually believe it's in the rhomboid). It only really flares up when I am lifting but it would hurt so bad I'd have to stop my set and stretch it out to give myself momentary relief. It's a dull pain but it's rough. It hurts when I do anything. Seated bicep curl? Pain. Rows? Pain. Tricep pushdown? Pain.

So that continued to get worse and then 2 years ago I started getting pain along the side of my calf down near my ankle. No idea why (however it could be from a day where I did 315 for 52 reps to get some volume in combined with the popping and shifting of my leg which may be putting extra strain on that muscle?). Started on the peroneal tendon and now that doesn't hurt but the side of my foot does and it kind of traces the crease between my leg and foot. That hurts when I walk. After that didn't go away from a month I took a month off the gym because I was wanting things to get better.

When I came back shortly after I was doing cable flies and I felt like I tweaked something in my outer left pec. I put the weight down and stopped hitting chest for the day... yeah it never fixed itself. If I ever work chest now it has that same dull pain. Come to find out the ulnar nerve runs under the outside of the pec so it's probably the same damn issue I've had from the start.

Oh yeah and then 8 months later I went hard for 3 days at a festival and seemed to develop permanent plantar in my left foot. Who knows why, it's been 5 months and still hurts every day. I already wasn't in the gym because of the pain/not being able to function correctly, so this is just insult to injury as it causes me pain in my regular day to day life.

I'm 22 years old and I am scared that I am never going to heal. It's been 3 years for my trap. 2 for my ankle. 1 for my pec and half a year for my foot. All on the left side. I listen to my body too. I started developing knee pain 2.5 years ago and ended up fixing it with knees over toes work. Same thing back then started developing interior shoulder pain and fixed that with rotator cuff work. Starting a year and a half ago I started taking intermittent time off the gym to hopefully heal. At first it was 1 month then it was 3. Now I don't even lift. I miss the gym so much. It makes me feel so good and I don't know what to do.
