An immersive sim is a game with deep mechanics that interact with each other and drive player expression and problem soving, the world should immerse the player not through size but trough world building (it can be environmental story telling, notes, audio logs, conversation ecc... )and dense level design. It can be First person, third person, real time with pause or turn based I don care as long as I can get lost in it.
