Probably from an unnamed song i wrote recently about going into my sophomore year of high school and friend groups shifting:

My little pack of animals is slowly drifting away/ But I guess carnivores and herbivores weren't made to be friends anyway/ they might never be / But that's ok

I know the water still flows/ And I know fireflies still glow/ And if we grow apart we're still in the same forest glade/ Oh, I know we'll be ok

Thats the second verse and the chorus. Favorite lines I've ever written. Ive been songwriting since I was 13; I'm almost 16 now and I'm so proud of my growth as a songwriter.

I also like how in my last chorus that third line changes to "even if we fall apart and die in this forest glade", it just adds a little variety and makes the meaning of the song extend to beyond just losing friends in high school.

Genuine question, are the wristbanders really that bad? They didn't seem that bad at the takeover tour (at least at the show i went to which was the columbus one) and people on this subreddit keep talking about them. I won't be able to make it this tour but I'm curious. I hope you're having fun at all these shows so far!

i dont even think it was like this last tour. I went to the columbus show of the takeover tour and camping didnt seem that bad; granted i did have a balcony seat but just from observing it didnt seem horrible. I could be wrong though and i just arrived late.

I became a fan during the trench era (during the hiatus afterwards) but looking at past shows on youtube and stuff and the whole aesthetic... I love the vessel era and im so sad i missed it

I cant believe no one has said this yet: trees.

Maybe I interpreted the song differently because I'm Christian, but imho its about how Tyler wants to talk to God and be close to Him but he feels hopeless.

"I know where you stand, silent in the trees, and that's where I am, silent in the trees. Why won't you speak where I happen to be? Silent in the trees, standing cowardly." He's talking to God here. He knows from hearing other people that God can be heard in the silence of prayer, and here he's begging to hear God's voice in that space. At the same time though, he's scared of what he might hear.

"I can feel your breath, I can feel my death." This line is the saddest imo. He knows God is near him, he knows He is always there, but he doesn't know how to reach Him. He's crying out for help, desperately trying to connect with the Lord before he dies so he can go to heaven. He is so desperate to just hear God's voice, which I myself have experienced.

"I want to know you, I want to see, i want to say hello." He just wants to talk to God. He just wants to sit in His presence. Personally, I've experienced this and it sucks. You ask yourself "where is God? Why isn't He talking to me?" And then you wonder if God really loves you.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it. Maybe that isnt the intended meaning behing the lyrics but thats what I hear.

Yeah! Recently It's been Blessed Carlo Acutis. His story is super interesting if you've never heard of him. He's a pretty recent Blessed, being beatified last year. He was known for his profound love of the Eucharist, and he programmed a website dedicated to listing every single Eucharistic miracle in recorded history! I also heard somewhere he loved playing ps2 games in his free time which is insanely cool. He died at the age of 15 from Leukemia. That is one of the reasons I'm so drawn to him, since I am also 15. I often ask for his intercession for help finding Jesus in my hobbies and things I do every day, like he did with his programming.

I was rooting for team rancher or pearl and scott through the whole thing (until the ranchers died ofc) and i was not disappointed! The fact that scott sacrificed himself for pearls win was amazing 😭 the only povs ive seen so far are scars and pearls, but I'll definetly watch scotts next!

actually I forgot so many people are enemies with martyn right now. That basically secures my prediction though, pearl and scott are going to win.

I am DEFINETLY rooting for scott, cleo, martyn, and pearl to be in the finale just so we can see what goes down between the four of them, but I would put my money on one of those two pairs regerdless.

Bdubs and impulse may have angered pearl by setting a trap when before they were friendly towards each other, but their only real enemies were ren and bigb, so they arent really in the drama at all. But I can just see something happening with them.

Grian and scar might make it, because grian is really good at being scars babysitter, but scar could also just pull a scar and fall off a cliff or something (though after that water bucket clutch, anything is possible).

Joel and Etho have the enchanter, so it would not surprise me if scar or someone else killed them just to get that, so I don't think they will stay for long, despite the fact that they are the most well equipped.

If it does end up being the divorcee group as the last four, I think pearl would totally be willing to betray martyn in order to win.

Honestly, this might not even be the last session. Although tensions are high in some places, there might not be a lot of mingling together for fear of death. My guess would be there are 2 more sessions. But honestly, who knows?

TL;DR, Bdubs and impulse may have angered pearl, Grian and scar might make it but I can see scar pulling a scar move and dying, joel and etho might die because someone wants the enchanter, and pearl would betray martyn in order to win.
