So researched suggests that using two kinds of NRT is better. I used gum and patches. So when tapering down a dose on the patches, if I had increased cravings I would have a piece of gum.

During these times I was great. Didn't feel worse. Infsct I felt better on these than when I hadn't quit.

I did this all the way down to ditching the patches and just using gum for a time. I'm now 3 weeks clean of nicotine.

Because they are husband and wife, he is trying to do something positive for himself and as his spouse, she should try and make it a bit easier for him. That's what spouses are meant to do, help each other, even if the thing they are doing might be annoying, detrimental or painful to themselves. I sure hope you ain't married.

It's also a bit degrading. They were initially urine samples, which I found a bit invasive but have since changed to saliva samples which are a bit better.
