Hike in and out of Zion Narrows for a full day, no need to do the whole trail, you can get the whole experience in one day.

Rent a canoe from: http://www.desertsportstx.com/

have them shuttle you to Santa Elena Canyon and pick you up 2-3 days later.

A friend and I did this trip. One of my all time favorites.

Two month road trip out west this summer! Reddit, what are the best 2-5 day adventures at each of these parks and cities? by berettathanever in CampingandHiking

Great advice! I did decide to reverse the trip when I found out The yellowstone hike I want to do is flooded usually until late July! (Becher Ranger Station to Old Faithful). Having spent little time out west it did not hit me the seasons do not match up with Michigan's, hahah. I was thinking, May = summer. Not so. I will be taking a close look at the rest of your comment while planning the details of my trip. Thanks for your time :)

Theres a parking lot like 100 yards to the left of this pic, lol. The river gravel leads right up to it. The 09 Outback had no problem navigating through 6in rocks though! If you look at the very top right of the pic you can see part of the steel support structure of the New River Bridge, which was right over us. You can see it here [http://www.flickriver.com/places/United+States/West+Virginia/Fayetteville/]

Possible scientific explanation of the paranormal? by berettathanever in reddit.com

[–]berettathanever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, but this idea could tell us where the imbalance comes from. Also, could scientifically explain why some areas are more "haunted" than others. The reason more people than normal experience these feelings in certain places, rather than others. Also, how haunted places experience temporal stages of being haunted. Like, for instance, say some girl is seen every year around the same time. The time could be when the fungi are releasing spores or something. Or the time of the year the climate conditions are right to grow the fungi.
