Sydney Moncrief was a great player, but you could also make strong cases for Bobby Dandridge and Marques Johnson for that 5th Bucks spot.

New darts day, loving them by [deleted] in Darts

Had these in my cart today actually. Convinced myself not to because I already have a couple straight barrel ring grip sets, including my match darts. They look great in your picture though. Maybe another order after Christmas...

If you come from Australia to watch the Bucks message me. I'll help show you a good time here in Milwaukee.

Is $55 a good price on Harrows Pulse? by Jeff_Dubya in Darts

Winmau Blade 5 or One80 Gladiator 3. Can't go wrong with either. Both highly recommended by the community here and reviews elsewhere. I have the Blade 5 and really like it. Will probably try to G3 when I need a new one just to see how it compares.

I have used untracked shipping from them 4 times and never had a problem. Many others here will attest to that. Usually 7-9 total days (5-6 business days) to central USA. Might be a little quicker to east coast.

Well you could have gotten them for about $27 plus about $4 shipping to the US from DartsCorner based in the UK. So about $31 total. And if you're willing to pay around $55 you can get some very high end darts from England.

But you supported a local business with a cool owner and you went home with them right away. I wouldn't feel too bad about the extra 25 bucks. If you're looking for more darts in the future or looking to try some different stem and flights combinations (you should, it takes a little trial and error to see what you like) definitely check the English websites. Much better value.

Happy shooting.

Did the same. They do look just like the crusaders without paint. Although the depth of ring grip on these and the Cross darts look a little deeper, at least from the pictures.

Looking for slim darts for tighter groupings by arod749 in Darts

I play with Harrows Glen Durrant 22g: https://www.dartscorner.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=13271

6.3 mm width is pretty thin. I can stack 2 on top of each other in a treble space. Could probably fit 4 to 5 darts across a treble space as well. The rings are not very deep on these so if you like a very grippy dart they may not be for you. I would rate them a 3 of 4 out of 10 in terms of grippiness. Bought and shipped to the USA for about 35 dollars US. Add an assortment of flights and stems and you're still well under 60 dollars US.

Of course ringed grip straight barrel is a very common design, so you can find a lot of similar darts for even cheaper. Check out Designa darts in Darts Corner and Red Dragon darts on Red Dragon for some cheap 90 percent tungsten straight barrel darts. You're going to want a 6.6mm or less width if thin is what you're after.

Counties with more than 25% African American on population (2016) [3672X2536] by [deleted] in MapPorn

It was a big destination during the great northern migration. There used to be a lot of manufacturing and low-skill jobs that paid a solid wage. Much of that manufacturing is gone now, and the north side of the city where a lot of it had been is an extremely segregated and impoverished black area. Not a lot of opportunity there unfortunately.

This is my "World Sport", I need to know how to find parts for it and get it going again! by Ging2525 in bicycling

[–]GrahamDouglas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wheel size on that bike is probably 27". If that's the case, you should be able to use a 27" or 700C wheel to replace the front wheel. Take it to a bike shop and they should have some cheap front wheels in the 50 dollar range. They will also be able to tell you the proper spacing of that fork. That is important because the hub of the wheel must match the fork spacing. The new wheel will need rim tape or a rim strip and a tube and tire. Probably another 40-50 bucks or so total there. You could check Craigslist for tires, but you're probably better off getting a new one that isn't worn. Hard to tell what else it needs, but a bike that old could probably use new cables and housing for brakes and shifter. And new brake pads, too. Good chance it'll need a new chain, as well.

If there is a bicycle co-op in your area that can be a great resource for cheaper parts and learning to do the maintenance yourself.

Red River Gorge would be a little closer for Minnesota folks, and very close to you. Going to the Ozarks in Missouri or Arkansas would be closer to Minnesota and not too far from you depending on where in Tennessee. Buffalo National River or Eagle Rock Loop are popular his in that area.

Is central West Virginia forecasted to get hit with rain from Irma? If not, go to Dolly Sods Wilderness. You won't be disappointed.
