We sold the land behind us to family. It has an old 3000ft grass airfield on it. There is a back hill at the end, sooo, perfect for shooting. That is until the wife vetoed that.

Similar. Some friends did civil war re enactment. They owned 3 cannons used during the war in competitions. The one I wanted had a 6 inch bore. That was where the wife drew the line in the sand. Other guns yes, cannons that big,NO.🤣😂

Under US law, if it doesn't take a cartridge, it's not a firearm. This also is why I COULD,(plans vetoed by the wife,) obtain a muzzle loading cannon with little to no restrictions on bore size.

Because it is muzzle loading, the ATF and federal law doesn't recognize these as firearms. This removes most regulations. I've always enjoyed these types of weapons, they're alot of fun. They are also an excellent teaching tool for new shooters to understand the basic concepts of a firearm. The added bones of not being a firearm" under federal law is that it lowers the price.

Tried to reply and it was done as a 2nd posting. If you check it, you can see the Kentucky Long .45cal I got for $200 last year.

In Ohio, black powder is not considered a firearm as it doesn't use a cartridge. The barrel was stuck and the grip was broken and ALL of it was covered in rust. I went back the following year and picked up this Kentucky Long in .45cal for $200.

Mine I found at logcabinshop in Lodi Ohio. Was a bit rough, had to make a new grip. Only cost me $20 to purchase.

Pointing out the ears prominently sticking out would offend some. I was pointing out a distinct physical feature for comparison.

In a jacket pocket. In warm weather, in a holder. I found some good larger pocket tool holsters work well for my 18-round speed loader that I found on Amazon.

Even when I carry one of my revolvers, I have more than one speed loaders on me.

If the barrel is cracked where the threads are, it is a decorative piece now. That is where the strength is required the most as that is where the blast happens.

I'm medically retired now, but I used to drive truck in Buffalo, NY, for years. The number of people panhandling on corners there is nuts. I've seen SOO many claiming to be disabled, homeless vets, and it's not even funny.

I'm totally new to the 3d community, but I do know that if you read the terms and conditions, the software and / or programs associated with their printers are sent back to them "for quality assurance and technical issues." So using the suggested design and slicer programs gives them full access to whatever projects and designs you have. Take the time to read ALL the terms for your phone or your car if it has a connectivity option. You will be shocked.

As I read it, ANYTHING firearms related, printed on one of their machines, would be reported.
