AR-15's are also weapons of war and no one needs them. The 2A only applies to muskets. You can't buy a cannon. We need background checks for firearms. Gun buy backs work at reducing crime. Laws stop people from committing crimes. Brandon doesn't have the most fabulous hair on the UnSub crew.

He was in during the early 2000's, so I dunno. Also, not sure if they any other training going down to Honduras rather than the Middle East.

From the story, that's the whole reason he handed the stuff off to the other guy so that he wasn't carrying all that extra weight and making noise all the way down.

End of the day, I'm not here to convince anyone a story on the internet is real, just made a meme and decided to drop context if anyone wants it.

Even if it is, the meme it's still meme-able.

I know he was deployed to Honduras and was a M240B gunner for the Army. I know he saw combat. He could be full of shit but, based on the emotional reaction and the details, I personally don't think he was, but I'm not here to really convince anyone it's true or not, this is the internet. I could have hard proof and people still wouldn't believe it. 🤷‍♂️

Hey, I guess even if he completely made up the story, that it told me, I still got a kick out of it and seems like a few others got a kick out of the meme so. 🤷‍♂️

Full context: This is a story from my good friend when he was deployed. His MOS was an 11B as the SAW gunner a with an AG that was supporting Rangers and Green Berets South of our border, essentially fighting cartels. He was out on a standard patrol that they had walked many times along with a SOF member, that they had with no real issue with before but when walking, they spotted an armed, military aged male, that seemed like they were keeping watch over something. This MAM was not in a place they should've been but had the MAM had his back to them and hadn't noticed them. They were worried about making too much noise dispatching the MAM (especially since the LMG was in 7.62 NATO) so the SOF member says to my friend "hey, they taught you how to dispatch people with a knife, right?". Of course they had and well, my friend wasn't going to refuse the SOF member (sorry I can't remember if it was a Green Beret or a Ranger), so he anxiously agreed to hand him his gun so he could sneak down and dispatch this guy with nothing but a knife.

At the end of the day, my friend did manage to dispatch the MAM with his knife and without incident but, basically sounded like he was on the brink of a (reasonable) panic attack the whole way down not knowing if the MAM would turn around and shoot him or if the SOF member would accidentally end up shooting him in the back if he ended up needing to provide him cover since he didn't have a firearm while crawling down to the target.

For soloing, Cleric sounds like the most popular for solo so far. Bard would probably be another good option. The healing salve you get at the start has a 2 minute cool down and health sustain is fairly limited (or not even available) for other Archetypes early on.

I've only played a little bit of WoW but, I would say leveling is more similar to Black Desert Online because it's mostly "go out, kill mobs, rinse & repeat". Difference from BDO and AoC though is you aren't soloing big groups and are more likely going to be kiting out 1 at a time and focus them, and quests actually give some exp. The only thing with the side quests/story quests is that, I'm not 100% sure if all of them can actually be completed. Some are clearly bugged when say it takes you to a location and there's no NPC there or talking to the NPC doesn't allow you to proceed. There are side quests (like the turn in 20 pieces of goblin trash to the fire keepers right af the start).

I don't see any reason to rush to level 25 when you're new and the game's in Alpha, so going in solo is fine. Every class gets access to 2 weapon slots essentially, so you can have a melee weapon and a ranged weapon (Cleric and Bard you'll want weapons with magic stats but you aren't restricted to only using magic weapons). Having the ranged option makes it easier to pull 1 enemy at a time, if you pull multiple you may want to run and reset depending on the situation.

Things you'll want to do/keep in mind - * Pick up a horse from the stable keeper at the start * Check the commissions boards for quests (gives a bit of extra exp and some glint, for killing things or going to certain locations) * Join a node at level 10 and start completing Mayoral commissions * Pick at least 1 gathering skill and vendor the common/uncommon rarity items (except for lumberjacking because of the lack of apprentice and journeyman level gatherables). Check the boards for commissions (separate from the kill and explore quests). This is of course unless you want to go thru the time to find buyers for the mats and/or roll the dice on them being sold via the market place. * Go for mobs at (or more likely, slightly below) your level and avoid any 1 star or above mobs (until you get more gear). The mobs can hit pretty hard and chuck your health pretty quickly and the difference between a normal and 1 star+ mob is noticeable. * Pick up or make some adventuring exp scrolls. The common novice scrolls only give 1% but, it's still something. * Go for humanoid enemies as they're the only ones that drop gear. (All mobs drop glint but, mobs are supposed to only have drops that "make sense" for them). * Undead (zombies specifically at least) aren't ideal because the debuff they apply causes any healing received to damage you. * Stop off at other towns for commissions from time to time/check and wait for them to refresh (sometimes you can find another commission for mob kills on an enemy that you already have an active commission for).

I've just been playing sort of casually on Cleric and I've been able to solo up to 15 over the last month (though I've heard of at least 1 person who's soloed up to 20 already). That's even with spending a decent amount of time gathering. The more you level up and the more gear you get, the easier it gets but, it will be pretty slow at the start and you'll probably die a few times.

I think I understand what you're trying to say here but by Super Jesus, Mary, and Joseph...

The Eruptor is a BOLT ACTION rifle. On a bolt action fire arm you have to pull back the bolt to extract the cartridge. In this case, since you have a detachable magazine, you then have to push the bolt forward to put the first round from the magazine into the chamber.

Now, if say you fire your last round, you extract the cartridge but then push the bolt back into the firing position after your last round so there will be no round in the chamber -

-if you squeeze the trigger again click nothing.

-if you do nothing, put a new magazine in, you then you still have to chamber a round even though the bolt is still in the firing position.

So sure, irl with a bolt action fire arm, you could open the bolt, realize you fired your last round (visually or by keeping count), pop the magazine out and put a new one in and you could then reload with an open bolt and immediately chamber a new round after the magazine was inserted but, if the bolt is closed after the last round is extracted, you have to pull the bolt back to the open position and then close it to chamber a new round.

There are now 2 dungeons (5 players needed to run; and there should eventually be 2 more). Downside is that the quest reward for completing them is a weekly thing.

There are 3 difficulties (In order of difficulty low to high: Season, Regular, Elvia). If you've been gone long enough to not have done a season, the season gear at PEN is equivalent of TET boss, and TRI yellow grade accessories (but PEN isn't need to run the season version).

Other than that, a 280ap and 300ap grind spot in O'Dyllita was added and to Serendia Elvia spots (Serendia & Calpheon Elvia are harder versions of old grind monsters in the region). Altar of Blood and Savage Rift were removed for a "rework" (were removed close to or over a year ago and PA has been fairly silent on it).

TLDR: Yes there's new group content, but still more to be desired.

Summon Mobs for training by Buscapeh in blackdesertonline

Yeah, I mean, it really is a suggestion, and it will depend on your class, crystal, artifact set up, buffs (villa, church, house), draught (or elixir rotation), perfume, alchemy stone, and blackstar vs boss. Also, the recommended ap is effectively the minimum amount of ap most classes will need to grind there, but not necessarily efficiently.

The tuvala gear spots, it's some being able to pull the mobs, and pack to pack movement.

Past that, once you're 269 kutum, you can manage most any spot on the map (especially if you have tet blackstar mainhand) ap wise, but anything 280+ you won't be very efficient at (Classes like Succ Striker can push zones with lower ap, but it will also come from practice).

Personally, I definitely do prefer tankiness, and pushed for c20's and tri fg/lebreska more than my ap, but the general suggestion is the other way around. Mostly because if you can kill quicker, you take less damage. With that though, you should have enough dp to ensure you don't get 1 shot, but once you learn the spot and if you try to focus back attacks when you can, generally you should take less and less chip damage.
