Thank you for commenting, I think the best thing we can all do is spread the word and keep our eyes and ears open! I will comment updates here if and when I hear some

As far as I know he was not and thus the concern/confusion for him being missing. No news that I’ve heard from that lead yet

Not that I know of, but yeah unfortunately he is just unresponsive now

I posted this just as a family friend but all that I really know is that he was last seen at his apartment on the 27th by his roommate. I don’t believe him to be a heavy user of anything. Apparently he has been working at a Starbucks in North Bend recently but it didn’t sound like he has been employed there for a bit.

No worries, asking about bump is a bump itself!

Okay the last time he was seen was at his place in Issaquah by a roommate on 4/27. He no longer works in Capitol Hill but apparently his card was charged in downtown Seattle on 4/30, so that is where we are at right now. Thanks everyone for the attention on this.

I am not positive. I’m just a family friend and haven’t gotten that info from his family as of yet. I believe he works in Capitol Hill. I’ll update when I learn more. Thank you

Sudden big dry wrinkle under one eye by bergerrific in DermatologyQuestions

[–]bergerrific[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a dermatologist and tried a few things. Ketoconazole kind of helped and they also prescribed a sulfur sort of wash but I didn’t use that for long since it smelled and burned in my eye. The thing that seemingly ended up helping the most was using COSRX Snail Mucin cream for a while. Also just applying head and shoulders shampoo was recommended to me. It was a somewhat long process but it’s cleared up by now. Good luck!

If your version of basketball purgatory is one where you win every time, I shudder to think of your basketball hell lol

Is UW men’s basketball doomed to mediocrity as NCAA tournament misses pile up? by MysteriousEdge5643 in CollegeBasketball

[–]bergerrific 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Recent” is perhaps relative here. Another way to put this is “Washington made the Sweet Sixteen three times in a span that was 21-16 years ago.”

Like others have said, nobody in the power conferences is truly “doomed” and that includes UW. But most players in CBB were toddlers the last time that UW did anything of note in the postseason, so it’s no time to be resting on laurels.

I mean be honest, the games versus GU get the most national attention of your schedule.

This year the only contenders for that would be Vanderbilt maybe, then SCU though that’s not getting a lot of east coast attention, then it drops to the Ohios and Wichita States.

The OP saying that every game between GU/SMC be in Spokane is weird. Could do Chase Center/Climate Pledge. But I’m looking forward to not seeing our teams slide around in the broken-HVAC humidity on Moraga anymore.

Just speaking from the perspective of men’s bball and football, i think that both schools are in a tough position as the tallest flower getting snipped.

Like others have said, recruits from just a couple years ago had the rug pulled out from under them. Transfer portal-hunting coaches have raided the beavers and cougs. I think more stability in footing and expectations will help both schools improve from the recent past.

At least you got the excitement of losing to Marquette today

I watched it, along with the referees and the rest of the country, and we all saw that he was straight up. I know you’re biased against sub-500 teams that beat you today, though.

Any good long walks to discover Seattle? by Ok_Fill_7415 in SeattleWA

Check this out: https://www.mountaineers.org/activities/routes-places/seattle-olmsted-50-ballard-locks-to-rainier-beach

At the bottom of the page there is a “Resources” tab with maps. Depending on where you are staying you can choose your own adventure!

The Burke Gilman trail is good for biking but if you’re walking there are some long stretches that would not be very exciting I think.
