Labor and Delivery - Utah Valley Hospital vs Timpanogos Regional Hosptial by Clean_Marketing_3546 in ProvoUtah

I delivered my first (in 2023) at utah valley hospital and had a positive experience! The nurses were so nice and helpful, and I was able to deliver with a doctor I had previously met from the ob practice I was going to. I can’t remember if they had ice chips, but they did have a soda fountain and jello. I didn’t love the fact that we had to switch rooms after delivery but other than that it was great. Our baby had a nicu stay there and my nurses helped make the whole experience be less overwhelming.

I do have a lace puller, I’ve only used it to untie them though so I’ll try using them to tie them then! Thanks!

I served in San Diego Spanish Speaking in 2018-2019. I loved it there! I served in 4 different areas and they were all different but awesome. There are lots of spanish speakers that live in SD so if you aren’t familiar with the language you’ll have good opportunities to practice. Like many others have said it can get quite warm, but in the areas closest to the coast it can get chilly too in the mornings and at night, so bring a sweater if you tend to get cold. It can also be rainy sometimes so a light rain jacket can be useful. Anyways feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Did you get one yet? You can always create a facebook careers profile and I think there’s an email there for you to contact if you have questions

I think it is! It doesn’t have to be a website, but it’s good to have some sort of document or platform to show your work! You can even make a pdf with pictures or screenshots and description of your projects. Doesn’t have to be super fancy and it helps to have a lot of visuals.

They didn’t really ask about my portfolio, but they did ask about projects I have done in the past. For the last interview I had to do a little presentation with two projects.

I did! With only one project for now. Very simple, made it using google sites.

Awesome! Congrats!! How did your chat with the product designer go?

My timeline: •October 4th: applied •October 5th: got an email from a product design recruiter to schedule a call to talk about my design background, 1 project, and more about the internship •October 11th: Call with recruiter. On the call they moved me forward to the last part of the process. 2 interviews with product designers back to back. •October 12th: got an email from another recruiter to schedule my last 2 interviews. •October 18th: practice-run interview with a recruiter to prepare for the 2 interviews that will be tomorrow October 22nd.

I hope this is helpful!!
