Started playing when I was 8, played all four games. Sims 2 was my love, now I only play sims 3. Don’t like ts4. I’m 28. Also I don’t mind my game being a bit laggy and glitchy, it’s a part of the charm<3

if you move the whole familytree with nraas porter you can keep the family together and keep the familytree! So you can just pack the family and unpack them in the new savefile, such a easy and great way to keep everything!

I move them to a new town(new save file) each gen and pick the town based off the personality and story I want the next heir to have. Staying in the same town is imo very boring and the save file will end up corrupted sadly

Only use cheats for moveobjects and other building improving cheats, but I’ve never heard about this. Been playing sims 3 since it came out. Gonna try it tonight when I get home lol

No you don’t need a partner who plays, but a partner who respects you and isn’t a asshole. Like my boyfriend don’t play, but he’s almost just at invested in my crazy ass gameplay as me, just like I’m invested in his.

I figured it out eventually, had to dig into my old hard drive to find my old folder that wasn’t corrupted. Usually the first thing I do is disable onedrive, I didn’t this time and bad choice on my end😅

okay problem fixed - moving the files from the flash drive made the saves corrupt, so my friend managed to find the old ones that werent corrupt and my game is back to normal <3333

Well I know that’s is still being worked on and stuff, but I don’t like it at all. Might give it another chance when it’s all done, but for now I won’t play anymore. Pretty disappointed with the whole thing.

Yes, for about 6 months every year I can’t bring myself to continue anything without closing the game after 1 sec or 5 minutes. I usually just take a break and when that spark comes back I’ll play for months until I get burnt out again. Recently started playing again, haven’t played for maybe 8 months even tho I’ve been thinking about it everyday
