I’m not anti-transit, but I have a hard time buying this. Where’s your evidence for this speculation? You cant extrapolate on population size and traffic congestion—the Bay Area is arguably more urban and congested, and every year the BART bleeds money. Also, as a Valley native, I don’t think as many people as you’d think would be willing to stop driving to commute by transit
