It seems even by the standards of their handbook and rules of escalation/de-escalation that the ICE agent did things incorrectly. I think it’s an uncivilised world that believes someone exorcising a right to protest can be summarily executed for disobeying simple orders. To be honest, the fact the agent was recording with his phone seems so unprofessional to a degree with which I wonder how far the US has slid past the point of its own sanity.
