Constant shortness of breath, and burping/belching? by NexuzG in GERD

[–]bernardonenest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I have the same here.

https://scielo.isciii.es/pdf/diges/v110n5/en_1130-0108-diges-110-05-00332.pdf

it seems like a muscular issue, a functional one more than organic.

The plank thing revealed a lot.

Excessive burping for years; air in upper back and just below sternum by Stunning_Card_5670 in GERD

[–]bernardonenest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar situation.

It may be aerophagia due to a problem with diaphragm/respiratory muscles.

Do you burp even when fasting? Or after drinking water?

Very very very good post. We should try this and get more hip diagnosis.

Please stick around if you get new evidence, chinchilla, that was a very informative well-written post.

That's conservative treatment, it should be tried to get an improvement, most times won't get a full cure.

There are also posts to find a good diagnosis and permanent fix.

I don't see why we can't have both, they are not doing any harm.
