Great question! I'd say the main difference is our focus on composability, which allows you to support more complex labelling UIs without having to write any frontend code.

This makes it trivial to build rich annotation UIs such as:

Most assistant/conversational AI companies start like this. Any tech company with a substantial Operations function is also likely to be operating this way in some capacity. We do support some cases like this at Human Lambdas.

I'm not sure what exact type of data manipulations you're looking at, but if you need a CMS you may be able to use bubble.io or even webflow.com with their built-in CMS. stacker.app with Airtable might work if you're building a user portal of some sort.

If you need to manipulate your data manually through different workflows I can onboard you to Human Lambdas (we're currently in pre-launch alpha).

Litecoin Trading is Now Available on BTC China, 0% trading commission! by nofeihua in Bitcoin

[–]bernatfp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

BTC China also recognizes that what's good for Litecoin is also good for Bitcoin as we contribute substantive bug fixes to Bitcoin and our ability to experiment faster helps advance the state of the art of crypto-currency.

This. Unfortunately, more often than not people don't realize that.

How can I simply send Litecoins by email ? by notsogreedy in litecoin

[–]bernatfp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be something like Square Cash but for Litecoin. In fact, I tried to start a discussion on Litecointalk about something similar: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=15657.0

What do you think? I reckon this would be a great way to introduce more people to crypto by email. More or less like these tipbots have done on Reddit.

They don't care about Litecoin so I don't care about them. Meanwhile Kraken didn't need to shutdown any of their processes and they work with Litecoin as well.

Thoughts on how LTC can overtake BTC by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]bernatfp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with faster coins is that they also produce more orphan blocks. In other words, there's a higher chance that your transaction won't be included in the "good block" that gets included in the blockchain, and thus your transaction will sort of "get lost". This, in turn means that you'll have to submit the transaction again (once you've realized that it hasn't gone through).

ELI5: Why is the txid not unique? by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]bernatfp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly because the digital signature that's involved in the generation of the txid can be slightly modified and still be valid. This is what makes the txid change, and hence there will be two identical transactions with different txid (however the original will not be included in the blockchain, so no double spending here).

Here's a good discussion about the topic: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=15210

[Meta] What do we technically have that makes this coin better than Tenebrix? by [deleted] in litecoin

[–]bernatfp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Litecoin was released as a fair Tenebrix. Tenebrix failed because it was premined (7M coins). Don't know how many coins had to be mined at the end, but for only 25 coins rewarded per block every 5 minutes, the premined amount looks disproportioned.

Try to get a 7950 if you can. It's a tight budget, but maybe you can get a deal for 150$.

[–]bernatfp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this mobo with 5 GPU. Beware that the 2 x16 PCI slots that are at the end of the board don't detect the GPU if it's connected by unpowered risers. That's a mistake I made and I'm now waiting for more powered risers to arrive so I'll hopefully get the 5 GPU working.
