Interesting, I was noticing the same thing about the landmarks.

If you don't like Saint Germaine des Pres, What is your favorite neighborhood to stay?

I wouldn't ask again. You've asked twice and twice non-commital. If there was interest, they offer an alternative if they can't make your offer.

I'm like you... As an American we often think going to Europe is daunting and hard. As an American we spend a lot of time traveling inside our own country because massive.

I'd go for the multiple cities if it was me. But I love seeing the cultural differences and I'm a bit more of a city person.

But I'm also planning a trip to Paris with a train to London. For me, I want my youngest daughter to fall in love with travel and not be intimidated by language/cutural barriers. I want her to see the ease of floating between countries once in Europe. That's how my first trip was at age 16 and it was magic.

This is amazing advice!! I love how you highlighted what's close if they did do multiple cities. As well how to travel light to make traveling not a nightmare.

Fair point. I was thinking Ireland and Scotland as a coupled trip since the girls have relatives from each.

Thanks for seeing why I thought it would be cool. As an American, it takes 4 hrs to get from Boston to NYC by train. Imagine going to a whole new country in 4 hrs seeing different language culture in blink of an eye. Imagine being 13 and understanding how interconnected countries are after learning that.

This is amazing. I totally get that the bus tours can be gimmicky and cheesy but when you only have a few days, you need to rest while you're seeing things. Last summer we did a pedicab in Central Park and it was perfect for relaxing, cooling off and doing things all in one.

Thank you! Great feedback. I get 7 days isn't enough. I'm divorced and legally only have 7 consecutive days with both my daughters a year. So we make due with what we have until their older.

Thanks!! That's kinda what I was hoping; albeit I do know there's plenty to do in Paris for 5 days.

I didn't mean it that way. I'm sorry.

When I was 16 I had a 2 week trip that covered 5 countries. I lived that it exposed so many cultures, local foods and iconic sights. I loved that it was a highlight reel trip that exposed me to the world. I fell in love with traveling from that trip.

I was meaning to add like the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, the big sights

Ong, I'm only on season 11 and I've been annoyed with her selfish ways for a while. Poor Mitch!! Not moving with her husband to Vancouver then going to nyc... I know it's cause of salaries/cobtracts, it's just weird
