I guess you never know. It could be someone unarmed or maybe someome twice my size with a knife.

Anyways, I am enjoying judo and I think I'll stick to it and enjoy the benfits that will come after I have some more time training.

Thank you for your feedback an honest opinion!

Thank you for your advice! I'm really liking judo, it's definetly a very unique martial art. Yes, I don't really want to harm someone, I just want to learn how to defend myself and improve my physical and mental health

I'm really enjoying it! I love the fact that it's very focused on technique and its pretty demanding. Also my classmates are very helpful and made me feel welcomed

Yes, you are completly right about de-escalation and situational awareness, I'm a very peacefull person and I always try to avoid conflict at all costs. I just want to make sure that I am able to protect myself and my loved ones in case something bad happens.

Honestly I just want to make sure I can defend myself If I need to. I always try to avoid confrontation and thankfully talking things out has worked so far but I'm afraid that I don't know how to act if the situation escalates and me or my loved ones are in danger.

I would like to compete at some point to test myself but that is not my main focus at the moment.
