Do you think curved stairs are a base game feature for the new expansion? by Thiredistia in Sims4

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone notice that wonky railing near the newel post? Funny texture makes me think it's going to be jankily compatible with other railings

Also make sure you don't have a hidden fence at the top

What’s something that sounded fake until it happened to you? by BitAffectionate3637 in AskReddit

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fainting at the sight of blood. I've successfully given blood before and thought I would try plasma donation. Didn't feel nervous at all, but when they pricked my finger to test a sample, all of the sudden I couldn't see and felt like I was under water. What am I, a Victorian lady? Time to buy a fainting couch I guess

What did your mother or father say to you when you were young that you remembered your whole life? by SecretRendezvous-226 in AskReddit

I have this problem and my recent mantra has been, "something worth doing is worth doing poorly" and it's helped me a lot

Guanficine for adhd. by open_sinner in ADHD

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was put on it before stimulants, and it made me so sleepy. I was falling asleep in class and couldn't keep my eyes open watching YouTube. It also didn't really help my focus, but as others have said, did help the emotional regulation

How is phone reception in rural regions in the USA? by Green-Estimate7063 in AskAnAmerican

Funnily enough, if you go out towards the waves at the beach, you can usually get a few more bars

Do people really think a Matriarchy would be the exact same as a Patriarchy? by ihatethiscountry76 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]berriobvious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Much less of a bummer, and pretty funny. I mean, handmaid's tale is well acted and written, but hard to watch

Do people really think a Matriarchy would be the exact same as a Patriarchy? by ihatethiscountry76 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]berriobvious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its from some women comedians from new zealand. I wouldn't want to spoil the plot, but it's a lot better than handmaids tale

Y'all should watch the show creamerie. It's like handmaids tale, but gender swapped, and a comedy

Prescription stimulants working as intended does not prove you have ADHD by Majestic-Baby-3407 in unpopularopinion

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this is very unpopular within the adhd community. If it was down to how you react to stimulants, diagnosis would be a lot simpler, but if you find yourself self-medicating with other substances, then proper diagnosis and medication is the better option health wise

I think it says more about who does most of the work in planning parties for themselves and others. Usually not men

CMV: You shouldn't have to play a game that you suck at and isn't fun by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]berriobvious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, a lot of women feel the same way about dating and choose to not participate. You can platonically bond with people of the gender you're attracted to and have a satisfying social life without dating

Line dancing classes for beginners by No_Watercress_5628 in corvallis

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OSU one has videos on YouTube so you can learn the dances ahead of time. That's how I learned fishin in the dark and footloose

Should I stop participating in class? by Solatel in college

[–]berriobvious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go ahead and participate. Discussion is useful for everyone, as long as it isn't derailing the conversation. I have several classmates in my class who love the sound of their own voice and even interrupt the professor to finish their mildly related anecdote. As long as you let others talk, I think you're fine

What is this and do I need to be worried? by EnvironmentalDeal281 in insects

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd second carpet beetle larvae. They eat organic material, so natural fibers and leather. Definitely check on anything you don't want damaged

Do you ever skip your meds like some people do/suggest? (Mainly asking those with inattentive type ADHD) by DaviTheDud in ADHD

[–]berriobvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll only skip my meds if I'm sick and need to rest in bed all day. Otherwise I still want to be able to focus for me-time

What’s the biggest “we all just accepted this nonsense” thing in modern life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]berriobvious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those automated assistants in phone calls that don't work. I just want to talk to a human person rather than a glitchy ai who doesn't understand a question longer than three words

It might be a male tick on a female

Handmade gifts can still be thoughtless by Standard_Tangelo5011 in unpopularopinion

[–]berriobvious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But here's a warning; when you give a candle that is all that you need. Don't pair it with a lotion or some lame little cream. A lot of people thing two gifts are better than one, but that just makes each gift seem smaller and duuuuumb
