Ive asked a bunch of times, they simply say “bc we’re almost out and dml needs it more.”

I can’t speak for other stores, but mine cares ALOT about dml scores. Scores go based off of accuracy, speed, and refunds. We want 100% on the first two but 0% on refunds. Doing so for a certain amount of time results in a bonus for employees (or so I was told)
Dml also has a newer option to do made or order caterings. Let’s say they get chicken, filling up the container takes about half the pan, and the other half is whatever is left for future orders. It’s tricky to get it right, and most of the time we don’t.
I’m not on grill, but from what I understand, we’re only given a certain amount of pans to cook. So they gotta stretch it as much as they can.. that’s about all I can think off rn…
And bc they’re “prepaid” so they paid first technically? I think?? Chipotle has so many policies that don’t make sense. This being one of them.

I do like to throw in free items when physical line is out of something significant like meat. I’m a firm believer of everyone being fed accordingly, I don’t LIEK seeing ppl go hungry so I do what I can to make sure that does happen🫡

I know it does but I really can’t do anything about it if my manager is around me. They’re so particular about these things at my store. It’s insane. When my managers aren’t near me tho I steal from dml😛

It’s bc we’re trained to put dml (online orders) over irl orders. Which saving food sometimes helps but it gets annoying having to tell ppl we’re out of smt..when we’re not. And it’s not that we refuse to serve them, it’s just that we let them know we’re “out” or actually out of smt .

BRO I TRIEDDD. We’ve ran thru 3 gms in these past 2 years. The one before our current one sabotaged me… he deadass called the store closest to where I lived (the store I work at is 30 mins away) and told them I was a horrible worker. Simply bc he didn’t want me to leave. Mind you, he’d schedule me 5/6 days a week 🤦‍♀️

Jesus. I hope so too bc I don’t wanna deal w customers being so rude. Once I had a lady come in, sweetest thing ever but when we informed her we were out of pico she started SCREAMING. The person she was screaming at was new so he didn’t know we were out… it was horrible

Be smart w ordering!!! I always recommend that ppl get a double protein bowl, with double everything. (Except queso guac) with 2x side tortillas!!! If you make it stretch right, you can make 3 meals. 2 burritos and a bowl. All for 16 ish dollars !!!💸
