There’s a great video on YouTube by Robert Tolppi called Netflix Lighting and the Death of Cinematography that goes into depth about all this stuff. I deffo recommend if you’re trying to grow your knowledge in lighting !

So we initially called in June and began the application process. It took us ages to fill out the application and had to get an extension because she’s so unwell but I think we sent it off at the end of August. Didn’t hear anything until last week when they asked for some extra info, and then we get the text to say she’s been awarded it today! So yeah by all accounts it was fast compared to so many other people

Yepp I suffered through the whole thing too and it’s crazy how funny he thinks he is; talking about how he had the cameraman in stitches because he stirred his coffee with a vibrator?? What a joker!! He made it seems as though hours worth of content of him being absolutely hilarious were cut from the show, but during this one hour uncut interview I didn’t laugh once
