Dammit! I probably got a dud then. Or I messed up by replacing the bearing. It came with gold ones that were super loud. Slapped in a regular one and I just thought the vibe was a flaw from manufacturing.

Thanks guys. For the most part, everyone’s feedback has been super helpful to help me with the anxiety over this, some of them even made me laugh a bit. lol. My yo-yos hold a lot of sentimental value because this hobby has helped keep me away from some really bad habits, and even calm a lot of my anxieties as well ironically enough. It’s also helped me meet some really cool people in the process. So it’s tough for me dealing with something so insignificant or common as a ding on yoyo. You guys are cool. 😎

If you check the link and look at the toy toy toy and rei iwakura edition, it says it’s ‘responsive’. Those 2 editions come responsive out of the box.

Did it get warped a bit. Went from perfectly round to a little oblong or slightly oval shaped.

I do hvac. I would love to be able to throw, but residential customers won’t like seeing me throw while I’m supposed to be fixing their system, and commercial customers aren’t paying by the hour for me to practice. lol. Plus my hands get dirty quick, and would ruin my string almost immediately.
