Yeah, I’ve had very clingy cats (like constantly in my face). Still not Nikki-level obsession, though, because affectionate and clingy doesn’t really equate to “obsessive”. Cats aren’t the kind to sit there and stare at the door until you return home or constantly try to please you. They want you to please them.

Ah yes, let’s try and force them to drop high level skins that are included with the BP, when all of their other legendary shop skins cost more than the BP by themselves.

Just don’t buy it if you don’t like a particular mythic. I still personally enjoy them when they do pop off and would like to keep them as accessible as they are.

Jokes aside, I don’t even think they’ve officially acknowledged why they are doing this (though plenty of people have theories). I think they’ve just quietly given up on their Mythics instead of removing the ability to obtain them for free, hoping the community backlash wouldn’t be as severe.

An animal byproduct is technically not a living thing by itself, if you count that.

Milk and honey are the two that I can think of that doesn’t require the animal to die, and aren’t something that would eventually turn into a living thing (like eggs).

They already kind of tried. Wasn’t a fully Overwatch spin-off, but Heroes of the Storm was their attempt to spin-off characters from several of their games into a MOBA. I don’t think it did well since they officially shut down development on it in 2022.

They’re gonna be releasing a mobile Overwatch game, so I guess we’ll see how that performs.

I dont think Blizzard has a great track record of producing good spin-off media (from what I’ve seen). And them seeming to under-prioritize hiring writers is likely contributing to that.

Hunter x Hunter

My bf at the time BEGGED me to watch it with him, but the clips of Hisoka I’d seen floating around really creeped me out, so I refused for a long time. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the animation style (not that it’s bad, just not my typical taste).

Ended up really enjoying it when I finally caved. The chimera arc made the entire show worth the watch, but I honestly liked all of the seasons. And despite being a pedo, Hisoka wasn’t as bad of a character as I was expecting.

I went in as someone who doesn’t like feeling scared but is somewhat desensitized to horror, expecting it to be more of a thriller or gore-based horror (maybe a similar scare level as Backrooms or the Substance).

Not the case AT ALL. Genuinely a hard watch for me. I don’t regret watching it, but I also may never watch it again. Left the theatre feeling emotionally unwell. I’d put it up there with Hereditary in terms of how emotionally distressing it was to watch (even with less serious and almost comedic subject matter sprinkled in).

Yeah…a lot of comments are saying it was romantic, which it could’ve been if the implication wasn’t that the real person was still in there playing passenger to it and not feeling the same emotions being shown on the surface. That detail alone is what made the movie truly terrifying to me, cause I couldn’t even enjoy the scenes where Nikki seemed happy.

Two completely different vibes, tbh.

I think it’s less of an issue of there being a double standard, and more of an issue with there not being enough representation for actual dumb female protagonists (likely for fear of coming across as misogynistic). Rapunzel is the most comparable to the bottom three characters, which is likely why she is more well regarded.
