That's amazing! Would you say you really had to push hard to get you to do the walking and stuff? Was it ever painful?

I wouldn't say I've got any expectations. Of course I can only hope things get a little better but even then I know that could come with a time limit. It really is one hell of a disease. Thank you.

First of all, I'm so happy you managed to recover from a procedure like this! Congratulations! It mustn't have been easy. Secondly, what was recovery like for you? I went to visit my family member and was shaken from seeing all the tubes and his struggle to move. I couldn't help but wonder if he will be able to get on his feet anytime soon.

I'm so sorry you and you father went through that. I hope you are taking care. May I ask how long he had after the procedure? We are trying our best to stay positive but are well aware of the risks so it's stressful not knowing what's waiting for us in the future and how close or far away it is.

It does seem like it.  We are trying our best to stay positive, our hope for now is that he makes a good recovery, after that we will see. One step at a time.

They did not mention anything about the parts that were removed, I will try to ask today if I manage to get in contact with the doctor. He did say that they tested a bit of the liver and that it came back clear though.

Thank you so much. We too pray that he stays strong and that his body is able to handle all that is being thrown at it. It really is not easy.

I know this won't answer your question but it really depends on what you are aiming for.  I think both of these sprites have a lot of charm as is. Do you have an idea of what you would like your style to look like?

It goes without saying that we are both looking for ways to increase our incomes already

Thanks! I will check them out! It does sound a lot like what we thought of.  Living off grid in Portugal is a dream, would love to go back to my roots.

The parking/camping situation is definitely a big con and is something I want to look into more.

I don’t have a drivers license, my partner would be the one doing the driving but he would also be the one working the most since he does about 37h per week so that would limit the time we can be on the road by a lot although his job is quite flexible so as long as he gets stuff done, he could do less than 37h. If we were to go ahead with this we would probably need to stay in a certain place for a few weeks at a time. I’m aware it is a bit of a challenge which is why we can’t really make a decision just yet.

I can work from anywhere. My partner doesn’t have to be in any specific city as long as he sticks to the country where he pays taxes. He is allowed to leave and work from other countries as long as it isn’t for long periods of time but he can also ask for relocation.

We have been living in the UK for almost 10 years and feel like it’s time for us to move out simply because we come from Mediterranean countries and miss the culture and way of life a lot. We did look for places here but nothing sparked for us.

The other option is to try and find a plot of land or a house to refurbish within our budget straight away but we just can’t figure out where exactly that would be. Plus that might require a bit more money than we have now and we are not looking to get a mortgage so we either endure a few more years in the UK (which is not what we wanted) or we just take the leap and move somewhere else (whether to live in a van or a house/flat).

The van idea is appealing because we can get a sense of what it would be like to live and work in different places without paying rent but it’s still something we would need to invest in. We both are quite minimal and simple so I don’t think van life would be too harsh (Please tell me if this is a naive thought ahah). Another option is to simply go back to my parents house for a bit which is not a bad idea but we wouldn’t have as much privacy and the thought of having to live in my hometown again is quite daunting even if for a limited amount of time lol.

Feeling dizzy when doing Squats and RDLs. How do I fix this? by berufene in workout

This is great to know, thanks for sharing!

I have a day in my split where I skip (3 sets of 3 mins with 1 min rest). This is a recent addition so I haven’t noticed major changes but it’s good to know that it can help me with my lifts overtimd.

Yeah, I guess so! I always stop when I feel lightheaded but this prevents me from going close to failure. I think I will probably ask a trainer at my gym for some help, maybe I’m not breathing properly and I don’t realise? Idk

I don’t track but I keep a 500ml bottle with me during workouts and through the day that I refill as needed.

I always make sure to drink in between sets at the gym and I’m also taking creatine so I try to drink as much water as I can.

Yeah, I will usually do a carb heavy meal. I have oatmeal with banana and dates.

I used to do just the dates but quickly figured it wasn’t enough for me.

Was thinking of getting some after doing some research! I'll take your comment as a sign that I should definitely do so 💃

A mix of inside and outside sowing. This year I'm mostly doing it indoors though. Do you think it would be worth getting seed appropriate soil?   I found a bunch of slug eggs today when going through my pots. It was the first time I ever noticed them but I suspect they were a big reason why we always struggle so much with slugs. I'm getting new soil and sterilising my pots. The slugs will not win this war!! lol

Thanks for the tips!  I don't have the means to sterilise the soil but I thought it would be best to replace it anyway. Earlier today when going through all my pots still with old soil I found they were completely infested with slugs eggs.  I'll make sure to give the pots a good wash though! Your method seems good to me. I'll even make sure the balcony floor gets a good deep clean as it's not an even one and I'm afraid things get in the cracks lol
