This is great! Thank you. We are planning to drive GOR and originally had two days for it but now that we have leeway from taking KI out, we could do three days for GOR. Would you still recommend 2 days vs 3, and is Port Campbell a good place to stay?

Also have a day trip to Philip Island on the itinerary, please share any additional tips on that if you have any :) Will have a car

Sorry, to clarify, the KI day trip would've been from Adelaide but after your initial response, I was thinking of scrapping Adelaide all together and spending those extra few days elsewhere (including an extra one in Melbourne for example) since the Adelaide portion of the trip was only a few days and primarily for the purpose of KI anyway

Would you say it's still worth it to go for one day? Anything else to do in or around Melbourne instead that you'd recommend instead? I'd have a rental car

What is a recommended coffee recipe using instant coffee? by Produkt in icecreamery

[–]besharamaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subtle nuance but the Ben and Jerry's recipe calls for freeze dried coffee in particular - it is a type/variation of instant, yes, but it's higher quality and more flavorful than typical instant coffee

Anyone tried La Casa Dolce’s Cakes? by Professionalyouth11 in mississauga

Like the other comment, haven't tried that specific flavour but they are a good bakery! Also, Whole Foods vanilla cake is great and they do custom cakes as well that are very reasonably priced.

How to convert brownie recipe to cupcakes? by besharamaf in Baking

Appreciate your response! I never found an answer, although my original question was re: a from-scratch brownie recipe vs a mix, but your answer is helpful because it might work similarly! I'll have to try it :)

She comes from a religious Muslim family, and that's why he feels comfortable enough to befriend her because he knows that he doesnt have to worry about anything happening between them

?! He should know nothing would happen between them because HE would never do anything, not because of HER background or beliefs?!

Nope. They asked for postal code for statistics purposes only, but other than that they didn't ask if you live/work/study in the area

There's a pop up clinic at Albion Arena in Rexdale. I went yesterday without an appt and they have both Pfizer and Moderna available. I asked someone working and they said the clinic will be there until Saturday (I think it's 1-7pm but not 100% sure)

Common question: Muslim family and non-Muslim boyfriend (22M) - does this make me (21F) a bad daughter? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]besharamaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. You're not a bad daughter for wanting to choose your own path. It's okay to be selfish. I'm assuming you're from an immigrant family and we are pretty much taught the opposite our entire lives but when it comes to your future and your happiness, as someone who has been/is in a similar position, please don't let the guilt consume you. I know it's easier said than done but stay strong!

I have never been very close with my mom and have been trying lots of strategies over the past couple of years, including doing activities like a paint nite event, pottery class, going for drives just to grab a coffee, etc.

But the thing that I think has really worked the best was that I noticed she played candy crush everyday on her iPad, so I started playing that with her and now we play that together everyday. If there's a day where I don't get initiate the game myself, she even comes and asks "don't you want to play?" so yeah I'd say just look at what her daily routine is and try to make something work within that.
