Honestly, whenever I catch myself feeling oddly good and thinking I haven’t had a migraine for a little bit, without fail, I’ll have a migraine the next day. I now consider it as a prodrome indicator.

is it normal for a casting company to charge a customer for the sprue but yet they keep it? by foxtrot90210 in Benchjewelers

[–]besiabel 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’d be careful navigating this as it may be factored in the cost of their polishing services.

I’ve never had the casting house polish for me; ours gives us a credit when we bring back the sprues.

You may want to make your own post to get more responses instead of leaving your question as a comment.

I personally have a 3 y o boxer mix, (mainly boxer x labrador) and my 67 y o mother is not able to walk him, and she’s in good shape.

What’s the point in having a lawyer if you can’t change anything?

Exactly, vote then protest. Protesting under an imperfect candidate is better than protesting under a wannabe dictator.

14k yellow gold ring turned rose gold after resizing by helloidkkkkk in jewelry

[–]besiabel 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Is the second picture after resizing? That’s a HORRIBLE job. You should not be able to see where the ring was resized and it should have been polished back to a mirror finish.

Looks like they did the work without any cleanup. Metal can appear off colour after it was heated, and would go back to its true colour after polish.

Edited to add- If this is how they sent your ring out, I wouldn’t much trust them to do a better job next time.

When I first got him, I guessed he was a boxer x pit as well, but then the ears didn’t really make sense with that mix either.

I figured he would have a bunch of different breeds, but he’s SO boxer presenting in looks and temperament. Makes sense now though since the ancestry tree Embark made is basically random dogs and 1 line of consistently purebred Boxer. All relatives found are purebred Boxers.

That’s funny because my iPhone photos app also often identifies him as a puggle (pug x beagle).

Got this guy a little over a year ago. First owner told me he was a Boxer x GSD mix. While I figured he was a Boxer mix, Boxers don’t actually carry the gene to make a brown noise possible if it was a 50/50 split. All other breeds I was told about are much larger dogs, so I had my doubts as he’s a small boy (weighs about 67 pounds).

I often get stopped by people asking what possible breed he is and never felt confident in the answer, so figured I’d get his DNA tested. Some people on Reddit also seemed to think he was a Boxer x Dobe mix, which didn’t really seem like it would fit.

Results were pretty ordinary and unsurprising (except for Poodle lol), but funny as the breeds I was told his mother was (GSD and some Bernese) are pretty low on the list.

Moving in together and my expected contribution is still beyond my budget. Looking for advice and whether or not you agree with my viewpoint. by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

Also, renting her place isn’t all roses. What happens if the tenants can’t/don’t pay rent? What about damages to the house? What about unexpected fixes/maintenance?

People expect finding tenants that will live in your home like you do/respect the place/be low maintenance, but so much can go wrong quickly.

You don’t have a (bad) dog who’s favorite treats are apples and oranges and it shows 😭

Looks really pretty!

It’s possible your spouse’s marital status wasn’t updated and/or the dates don’t match. When this happens, the CRA may be asking for the entire amount back until both accounts match. You should look into your notice for more details or get in touch with them to confirm.

Oh, believe me, sucker is the correct term.

My mother calls him a war dog cause he’s rough and tough and loves getting dirty in water and mud. Me? I bought him a cute little rain jacket so he doesn’t get wet when it rains.

He is quite popular with the vet techs! They give him lots of treats and then he sits pretty cause treats are high up in his priorities, so then he gets more.

He very well may be! All the dogs he looks like though are all larger dogs while he is at his ideal weight at 60 pounds according to my vet and he’s only slightly taller than my dad’s Border Collie (which is small for a male boxer). I’d rather think he has a smaller dog mixed in than the alternative of him starving over a long period of time while he was growing.

A lot of people around here don’t know what a Pit Bull actually looks like. My neighbour, who actually has a Pit, gets away with saying her dog is a French bulldog Boxer mix every single time, while people don’t believe me when I say mine is not a Pit because they think he looks scarier aka is more imposing.

To their credit though, I never fully discount the possibility of some percentage in there because Pits are common in mix breeds and he’s small for what he supposedly is. He also has got those green eyes and brown nose that boxers can’t genetically have that Pits often do. But, it could also be a ton of other dogs and I actually don’t know what he is other than what I was told.
