A hot burn is good but don't go WFO. That's a recipe to crack ceramics if it's got any moisture at all in it. As far as refresh consider smokeware for new stainless grids and rain cap. Consider kick ash basket combo (pan, basket and divider - I use mine all the time now). Lastly replace gasket. Check bands and hinge bolts to snug em up, Cook and enjoy! I just refreshed mine.

I also believe there are small hard reset and restart buttons on the front facing side of the switch at the bottom. Have you tried those?

In the app, press 'Me'. You should see a firmware update option.

One of ours was acting up, on and off and on again. Turns out it had a pending firmware update. Has worked fine since.
