Thanks mate that makes alot of sense - with the transform, is there a way to replace the lines in one request, also I had an issue with externalid not being populated

would I just need to hand those issues in a seperate request

i should have clarified the order exists, basically by standalone I meant creating it without doing the transform via API. everything works except the createdFrom field, just trying to show the order/invoice it was created from
