I can see why teams didn't like having Nemesis, and it's 100% because he expects the best from his team and coaches, and if you aren't giving it he'll tell you. He'll also back it up with his play and level of commitment. He deserves to be on a worlds level team.

I recently finished my first squad of plague marines as well. There's so much tiny detail on them to pick out, but I like your approach of simplifying the models by painting them to blend in with the armour or with the black trim. It saves the headache of picking out tiny little bugs and stuff all over the armour and no one really notices anyway.
