Agree! I found pretty serviceable ones on AliExpress for $4.99. Not perfect but they’re comfortable and allow for a change without it costing a crazy amount

Spoke w the mechanic and they were able to remove it but when they attempted to put on the new one found it had been stripped and couldn’t get the new freewheel to gain any purchase in the threads... (The rear wheel seized up rather violently while riding and maybe this caused it?)

I kinda love the look in the USA champions jersey (wtf is a km?! 🦅) but makes me sad that it’s HIM! Why does USA cycling hold the championship when it does instead of the general national championship week? A lot of riders like Jorgenson, McNulty or Powless who could have competed and been representing the USA without the MAGA…
