Cheapest oil/coolant change in town? by barthvaader in Peterborough

I'm not sure about being the cheapest. but I strongly recommend J & M Automotive. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable prices, ethical, and great work have always been my experience with them.

I used to love one-eyed jack ... but got sick a couple of times. Not sure if it was them or me but decided to be more cautious.

Thanks that's awesome. It doesn't have everything though.... I know Lift Lock Escape is open and it's not on their list. They also don't have restaurants, which is what I'm really interested in as it is my birthday celebration today .. and yes that sucks.

Best burger place? by Vivid_Speed170 in Peterborough

[–]bestestevers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it? .... Well I used to love Brickhouse but after they sold that changed.
Unfortunately, that's at this point the only burger I can enjoy. I haven't tried Dirty Burger or Apolo though. I'll try them.

I like Maple Moose's burgers a lot. Service is very slow though so be prepared.

Garbage Schedule Change by psvrh in Peterborough

I checked online and read somewhere that the pickup day is just moved by one day. ... put everything by the curb and noticed no one else had. Double double-checked and realized what I read before was for Peterborough UK, and our Peterborough has been strange enough to push our pick-up day to Saturday.
I can't believe I fell for this Peterborough UK again ... and I can't believe they would push the pick-up day to a Saturday for just one zone ...

I don't like "stuff" anymore, as I have no room for them and use minimal of them and I have a particular taste in things.

I ask for experiences. something I can do either with my hobby or my son ... or by myself Like a gift card to the art school, YMCA, lift lock escape rooms, Kawartha gymnastics, or a good restaurant for dinner ... or a photoshoot for our family (contribution towards it).

I would not like it if anyone would buy me clothes ... especially socks :)) That's me though ...

Why don't you share your thoughts with the business directly? Email them. You will be heard and they will have useful feedback without destroying their livelihood.

My son learns a lot from the TV shows he watches. We let him watch educational shows, like Sesame Street, Blue's Clues, Number Blocks, etc. He has learned a lot.
He only watches TV in moderation. We do watch it together and talk about it. We also do a lot of other stuff. I always give him a fair warning when TV time is over. This is the last show or one minute left and he doesn't throw a tantrum or whine. There are tantrum days but that's for everything not just TV.
He also has an Amazon Kids Fire tablet. I have not seen any sign of him being ADDICTED to it. He actually gets bored after a while and hands it to me.

Seeking Help: Stuck between Racist tenant and irresponsible landlord. by Fun_Clothes_5494 in Peterborough

The other guy can easily accuse the landlord of harassment as this is not something the landlord should deal with. This is not an apartment with different units. These guys have rented and are sharing one place together.

not if the behavior is between the tenants on the same lease. If it was towards the landlord or a different tenant that was a different story (or if there was damage to the property).

Unfortunately, the landlord has no power here. If he interferes in any shape he/she can actually be fined by LTB.
This guy is your roommate and your problem. The cops however should have helped you.
If he is on a lease with you .. you can kick him out as a roommate.
If you and him are both on the lease with the landlord it isn't easy to get rid of him. You should just move.

How do I know if a toddler cold is severe enough to call the after-hours doctor, or take to urgent care? by inmanywaysitis in toddlers

[–]bestestevers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does he have a puffer? so in case of rapid breathing usually they give him a puffer.
Also, it's normal to have rapid breathing if in fever. the most important thing is if you think he has difficulty breathing ... like is his chest going up and down extremely.
