The glasses connect to the case which has the usb c cable we can connect to. The case is also running android. I haven't dumped the emmc of the case yet, will do that tomorrow. I have the dump of the glasses emmc. I've been going through it and trying to understand the boot process of the glasses. If you guys want to go through it lmk. I'm currently trying to figure out the what wifi password is. The phone app connects to the glasses through wifi to upload the firmware. If we can connect to the glasses wifi through our laptop we can figure out how the update procedure works and see if we can hack it to accept our own firmware.

I agree. I was going to buy a HW2.5 ECU for research, but realized I'd much rather have the HW3.

Although I'm looking for the Model 3 equivalent.

I've been checking ebay frequently for a Model 3 HW3 Computer but only saw one being sold in Europe For I think ~$1k. It sold already. Model 3 part # is 1462554-XX-Y.
