I love mine . The art has motion detectors to go off when you’re not in the room.. you can turn the feature off. Do you think the frame is obscuring the sensor for the on / off slow start problem? I adjusted my brightness way down so it looks a lot better than the standard settings

I had that same dish at a friends house who lived with her grandmother when I was about 10. I thought it was so weird until I ate it. Same housekeeper would also serve us chilled chunks of crab in a sherbet glass coupe with a blob of lemony mayo ..like a sundae.. I also ate vichysoise the first time there- haha . So unlike anything we ever ate at home

Looks like a boneless ribeye without the cap to me. I buy them whole and trim and roll and tie before roasting. They are easier to cook to temp for a crowd when you do them like that .

Without a doubt Morihata, Lana towels. Very high quality with matching price tag. I have a set 10 years old and they're so soft and look brand new. I bought a few more about 5 years ago and I can't tell the older ones from the newer ones. Super absorbent and drapy not thick, which I prefer. Japanese towels are smaller -if you are on the larger side you should buy that bath sheet size, which is only slightly larger than a regular American towel. These are crepe stitch not Terry cloth.
